Fly Without Fins What's it all about?⁣

What do airlines and sharks have in common? Both need fins to survive.⁣

Today is the day airlines 'go back to normal'. After receiving $123 billion in COVID19 taxpayer bailouts, airlines are currently in a better position than ever to drastically improve their policies and take a more moral and ethical flight path!

We ask them 'what is your normal'?

⁣▪️It's about naming and shaming airlines that still fly shark fins around the globe.⁣

▪️It's about raising up and celebrating those airlines that have banned shark fins in their cargo.⁣

▪️It's about holding airlines responsible, applying pressure and asking them 'what is your shark fin policy?'.⁣

Airlines, either intentionally or not, contribute to the barbaric and cruel shark fin industry by facilitating trade through transportation. There is almost no way for airlines to know whether the fins they're transporting are legally caught and whether they come from endangered or protected species.⁣

So how can you help?⁣

Go to flywithoutfins.org and tweet your local airline with just the click of a button asking them what their policy on carrying shark fins is. Call them out, apply pressure and make your voice heard. Airlines need to be held accountable and encouraged to take the decision to ban shark fins on board their aircrafts and remove themselves from the abhorrent shark finning industry!⁣ ⁣
