ขอขอบพระคุณท่านผู้อำนวยการโรงพยาบาลขอนแก่น นายกสมาคมแพทย์อุบัติเหตุแห่งประเทศไทย คณะผู้บริหาร วิทยากรผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ ตลอดจนคณะกรรมการและทีมงานทุกท่าน ที่ร่วมแรงร่วมใจกันจนทำให้การประชุมในวันนี้สำเร็จลุล่วงอย่างราบรื่น

ขอบคุณผู้เข้าร่วมประชุมทุกท่านสำหรับความสนใจ การแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ และบรรยากาศที่อบอุ่นตลอดทั้งวัน

Doctor Klaus Gorlinger มาบรรยายเรื่อง ROTEM in cardioplulmonary bypass and trauma ที่กลุ่มงานศัลยกรรม โรงพยาบาลขอนแก่น และร่วม discuss เคสทางศัลยกรรมอุบัติเหตุที่ใช้ ROTEM มาร่วมดูแลผู้ป่วย

ในปัจจุบัน thromboelastometry นำมาใช้ในการดูแลผู้ป่วยอุบัติเหตุอย่างแพร่หลาย นอกเหนือจาก transfusion guided ROTEM guideline ที่เป็นที่รู้จักดี อาจารย์สอนตั้งแต่ basic science งานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง และการประยุกต์ใช้นอกเหนือจากงานปกติ
ภาวะต่างๆที่ยังมีข้อจำกัดในการวินิจฉัยด้วยผลตรวจเบื้องต้น เช่น hypofibrinogen , hyperfibrinolysis และภาวะ fibrinolysis shutdown

One fundamental principle has long been shared by Emergency Physicians and Trauma Surgeons.

When listening to a patient's or family member's chief complaint, our first responsibility is not necessarily to think of the most common diagnosis. Instead, we must first consider the life-threatening conditions that could rapidly lead to the patient's death, and continue to assume they are present until they have been confidently excluded.

This mindset has been passed down from teachers to trainees across generations. It serves as one of the cornerstones of emergency and trauma care, because recognizing and addressing the most dangerous conditions first can make the difference between life and death.

Today, we continue to uphold this principle and pass it on to our medical students, residents, and the next generation of physicians. By doing so, we preserve the standards of emergency and trauma care through continuous learning and mentorship from one generation to the next.

"Think life-threatening first, until proven otherwise."

This is more than a diagnostic strategy—it is a clinical mindset that shapes every Emergency Physician and Trauma Surgeon.
