MDKKU Welcomes Two Exchange Medical Students from the Medical University of Innsbruck, Austria, Under the ASEA-Uninet Program
The Faculty of Medicine at Khon Kaen University (MDKKU) has welcomed Miss Christina Stumptner and Miss Avalon Sophie van der Smagt, 5th-year medical students from the Medical University of Innsbruck, Austria. Participating under the ASEA-Uninet cooperation network, the students have arrived to join the Clinical Elective Program, running from August 3 to August 28, 2026.
This clinical exchange program in Thailand under the ASEA-Uninet framework is designed with the key objective of broadening the students’ perspectives beyond standard European healthcare, enabling them to understand public health systems and diverse sociocultural contexts, and facilitating cross-cultural learning in clinical decision-making and patient communication. This experience marks a vital step in developing their skills and professionalism to become globally-minded physicians in the future.

MDKKU ต้อนรับ 2 นักศึกษาแพทย์แลกเปลี่ยนจาก Medical University of Innsbruck ประเทศออสเตรีย ภายใต้โครงการ ASEA-Uninet
คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น (MDKKU) ได้ให้การต้อนรับ Miss Christina Stumptner และ Miss Avalon Sophie van der Smagt นักศึกษาแพทย์ชั้นปีที่ 5 จาก Medical University of Innsbruck ประเทศออสเตรีย ภายใต้เครือข่ายความร่วมมือ ASEA-Uninet ซึ่งได้เดินทางมาเข้าร่วมโครงการศึกษาดูงานและฝึกอบรมทางคลินิก (Clinical Elective Program) ระหว่างวันที่ 3 สิงหาคม ถึง 28 สิงหาคม 2569
การเดินทางมาศึกษาดูงานในประเทศไทยของนักศึกษาแพทย์ทั้งสองท่านภายใต้โครงการ ASEA-Uninet นี้ มีเป้าหมายสำคัญเพื่อเปิดมุมมองใหม่นอกเหนือจากมาตรฐานการดูแลสุขภาพในทวีปยุโรป ทำความเข้าใจระบบสาธารณสุขและบริบททางสังคมวัฒนธรรมที่หลากหลาย ตลอดจนการแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้การตัดสินใจทางคลินิกและการสื่อสารกับผู้ป่วยข้ามวัฒนธรรม ซึ่งถือเป็นก้าวสำคัญในการพัฒนาทักษะและความเป็นมืออาชีพ เพื่อก้าวสู่การเป็นแพทย์ที่มีมุมมองระดับสากลในอนาคต
