These inspiring plenary talks will challenge conventional thinking about English language education—from embracing multilingual realities through 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐆𝐄𝐋𝐓) to reconsidering the role of 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧-𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 in language education.

For more than a decade, Global Englishes Language Teaching (GELT) has challenged native-speaker norms by promoting multilingualism, linguistic diversity, and more inclusive approaches to English language education. Drawing on research, curriculum innovation, and teacher education, Dr. Prabjandee presents a roadmap for empowering educators to reimagine English teaching and lead meaningful educational change.

Contrary to the common belief that educational challenges always require more policies and interventions, Dr. Savski argues that strategic inaction can sometimes lead to more effective pedagogy, assessment, and learner development. His talk offers a fresh perspective on balancing action and restraint in language policy to support more holistic and sustainable educational practices.
