From July 23-25, our "Generative AI Training for Network Monitoring & Cyber Security" workshop brought together experts and participants across Asia with the support of the European Union, Asi@Connect, and Trans Eurasia Information Network (TEIN).

During this three-day journey, we have accomplished:
- Hands-on AI training for cyber security, network monitoring, research, and academic
- Certified trainers from 7 countries: Bhutan, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Nepal, Philippines & Thailand
- Theoretical and technical deep dive from expert presentations, practical sessions, and networking

The Generative AI for Cybersecurity, Research & Policy Workshop will be held on July 23–25, 2025, at Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao, Bangkok. Supported by Asi@Connect and the European Union, this workshop is designed to equip NRENs and university staff with practical skills in generative AI applications for cybersecurity, research, and policy development.
Key features of the workshop include:
✅ Practical training in generative AI for threat detection, network monitoring, and academic writing
✅ Guidance on AI policy, ethics, and governance
✅ Train-the-Trainer sessions to ensure sustainable knowledge sharing
✅ Collaboration with international experts to foster regional partnerships
