Hi all! Megan here, host of Level Up: College. 🙋🏻‍♀️ I wanted to take a moment and introduce myself properly! I grew up in Iowa and received my Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I worked as a journalist for a few years before starting work in the student services realm of higher education about 6 years ago. My full-time job could be roughly defined as “adviser,” but, as always, there’s a lot of “other duties as assigned” and “Hey, Megan, do you have time for…” I’m currently in my last semester of my online MA in English Studies through Arizona State University. Starting this podcast was about finding a creative outlet to share information that I think would help my students… and would have helped me as an undergraduate. This podcast is *just for fun* I don’t have sponsors, and anything I suggest is something I’ve found value in… probably for free because we’re broke college students who do NOT have extra money for that nonsense! On a normal weekend, when I’m not doing homework, I’m likely to be found hiking with my dogs in West Texas. 🥾🐶🐶I don’t know about you, but my favorite pictures of myself are the ones where I’m authentically smiling and having a great time! 📸 Rachel Griffin Photography
