A New Academic Year Begins at HHIS!

Today marks the start of our 2026/2027 academic year, and it has been wonderful to welcome our current and new students and families to campus. We hope everyone has had a fantastic first day filled with smiles, new friendships and excitement for the year ahead.

Our teachers have been busy over the past two days, taking part in a two day professional development workshop with the inspiring Kath Murdoch. Kath has worked with international schools around the world, has published many books and is a world-leading voice on inquiry based learning. lt was an honour to welcome her to HHIS and a wonderful opportunity for our teachers to learn from her.

What an incredible three weeks!

Last week marked the end of another fantastic HHIS Summer Camp. Thank you to all of our campers, families, teachers, and staff for making these three weeks so memorable. From exciting activities and new friendships to creativity, sports, and laughter, it was a summer filled with unforgettable moments.

2025/2026 Academic Year Recap | Summer Concert & Summer Fair 2026

What a fantastic celebration of music, creativity, and community at HHIS!
Our 240 students from Years 3-13 filled the stage with incredible performances, from soloists and ensembles to our talented student bands, with DJ Bianco adding to the festival atmosphere. Alongside the music, our Year 10 Business students organised the inaugural Summer Fair, putting their learning into practice and raising an impressive 20,155 THB for Jungle Aid.

A wonderful day of talent, learning, and community. Thank you to everyone who made it such a success!

Thai Teachers' Meet #10 at HHIS

On Thursday, 23rd July, we were delighted to host Thai Teachers' Meet #10 at Hua Hin International School.

Thai teachers from international schools across Thailand came together to exchange ideas, share teaching strategies, and explore best practices for inspiring students in Thai language and culture.
Guided by this year's theme, Share • Shift • Shine, the day was filled with meaningful discussions, collaboration, and professional learning.

Thank you to all the wonderful educators who joined us and made the event such a memorable success.

the Year 8 students hosted HHIS’s Language Festival for Years 5 & 6.
Year 8 students worked hard to create games relating to the culture of Spanish-speaking countries as well as that of Thailand and China.

Year 5 and 6 students thoroughly enjoyed the morning, navigating the three activities for each language. Each activity was played for 15 minutes and ensured that the students learned some vocabulary and cultural facts while having a lot of fun. The feedback from Years 5 and 6 was amazing. They thoroughly enjoyed the day working in teams, using physical and linguistic skills and making new friends.

The Year 8 students were also very proud of their achievement but admitted that they were tired at the end of this and now have a much better understanding of what it means to be a teacher.
