Today our little learners stepped into the wonderful world of animals. From discovering different creatures to talking about where they live and the sounds they make, the day was filled with curiosity, excitement, and lots of imagination.

Animal exploration is such a special way for young children to learn. It helps them understand the world around them while building empathy, language, and confidence as they share what they see and discover.

Fish are such fascinating little creatures. They glide through the water so gracefully, exploring their colourful underwater world. Some fish love to swim in groups, called schools, while others enjoy quietly exploring on their own.

At Rose, learning about fish is a wonderful way for our little learners to discover the magic of nature. From shiny scales to swishy tails, every fish is unique — just like our children!

Today our little learners discovered something magical — changing the colour of water using crêpe paper! With curious hands and excited eyes, they watched as the colours slowly spread and transformed the water right before them.

Our older Rose learners have jumped into their exciting new topic this week — W for Water!

From splashing experiments to curious little questions, the classroom has been full of energy and discovery. Water is such a magical part of our world, and the children are exploring it in the most joyful way — through play, movement, and hands-on learning.

We’ve been talking about where water comes from, how it helps people, animals, and plants, and of course… having plenty of fun along the way! Expect lots of giggles, watery discoveries, and little scientists at work.

Learning through play is at the heart of what we do, and topics like this allow the children to explore, imagine, and build their understanding of the world around them.

And if there’s one thing we know for sure… anything involving water is always a big hit! 💦✨

At Rose, our little learners enjoy swimming lessons three times a week, and it’s always a time filled with laughter, splashing, and growing confidence in the water.
