There were a few tears and a little homesickness this morning. 🥺 But as soon as the children knew their parents would pick them up this afternoon, those tears quickly turned into big smiles! 🥰👋

Today’s activities focused on making everyone feel right at home. 🏡💖 The children had a wonderful time:

These activities helped ease their anxiety and brought so many happy faces to our very first day! 😊🎈

🌟 Kids Camp 2026: Week 1 Recap – Adventure, Science & Smiles! 🌟
​What an incredible first week for our little explorers! From becoming nature detectives to mini-engineers, our campers dove headfirst into a world of discovery. Here’s a look at our 5-day journey:
​🏗️ Day 1: Little Animal Architects – We explored the school safari, met our animal friends, and built tiny habitats using natural materials and STEM skills.
🕵️‍♂️ Day 2: Nature Detectives – Highlights included nature rubbing art, sequencing with forest treasures, and building colorful Kaleidoscopes to explore light and symmetry!
🪷 Day 3: Lotus Pond & STEM Lab – We discovered the secrets of the lotus leaf and created "underwater fireworks" while learning about density.
🏎️ Day 4: Sensory Scientists – After a nature scavenger hunt, we combined engineering with creativity to build and decorate our very own Balloon Cars!
🎨 Day 5: Jelly Art & Ice Painting – A grand finale of sensory fun! We injected natural colors into jelly masterpieces and ended the week with a splash of messy Ice Painting joy.
​It’s been a week of blending nature with hands-on learning, and we are just getting started! 🌈✨

🐾 Kids Camp 2026: Day 1 (30 Mar. '26)
"Little Animal Architects" 🐾

​Today, our little explorers had a busy day discovering nature and practicing STEM skills!

​🔍 [Science] School Safari: We went outside to observe birds, turtles, deer, cows, horses, and buffaloes. We also enjoyed tasting fresh mulberries from our school garden! 🍇

​📚 [Story Time]: We read "Animal Homes" to learn where different animals live and why their homes are special.

​🏗️ [STEM Challenge] Tiny Builders:
• ​Phase 1: Building house models using ice cream sticks and clothespins to practice problem-solving.

• ​Phase 2: Creating natural habitats using real twigs and clay to learn about structures and shapes. 🪵

A great start to our camp! Can't wait to see what the kids will discover tomorrow!
