ทำไมเราต้องเรียนภาษาอังกฤษ
เหตผลสำคัญเรื่องหนึ่งที่ทำให้เราต้องเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษก็คือโลกเดี๋ยวนี้เล็กลง ต้องขอบคุณอินเตอร์เนตและนวัตกรรมทางเทคโนโลยี่และไอทีที่เพิ่มขึ้น ภาษาอังกฤษเข้ามามีบทบาทเป็นภาษา กลางที่ผู้คนใช้ในการสื่อสารมากที่สุด ดังนั้นจึงปฏิเสธไม่ได้ว่า พนักงานในหน่วยงานและบริษัทฯต่างๆต้องสามารถพูดภาษา อังกฤษได้เป็นภาษาที่สอง นอกจากภาษาประจำชาติของตนเอง ตรงนี้เองที่ภาษาอังกฤษเข้ามามีบทบาทสำคัญ เป็นที่ยอมรับกันอย่างเป็นทางการว่าเป็นภาษาสากล
การเรียนรู้นั้นไม่ว่าจะเป็นเรื่องอะไรก็มีความยาก ภาษาอังกฤษก็เหมือนกัน แต่ก็มีวิธีที่จะทำให้เป็นเรื่องง่ายได้ เรามีกฎที่จะทำให้การเรียนภาษาอังกฤษเป็นเรื่องง่ายๆเรื่องหนึ่ง
คุณคงอยากรู้แล้วละซิ
การเรียนภาษาอังกฤษใช้เวลาและต้องมีความอดทน ทำใจให้สบาย เรื่องแรกที่สำคัญในการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษคือ รู้คำศัพท์ ถ้าไม่รู้คำศัพท์เลยก็ไม่สามารถเริ่มพูดได้ คุณต้องเริ่มเรียนจากการรู้จักคำศัพท์ให้มากที่สุดก่อน เพิ่มพูนช้าๆแต่ทุกวัน เรียนรู้คำศัพท์ใหม่ทุกวันอย่างน้อยวันละ5คำ ทำให้ภาษาอังกฤษเป็นเหมือนส่วนหนึ่งของร่างกาย รู้ทุกอย่างรอบตัวเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ เริ่มจากอวัยวะของตัวเราเองก่อน แขน ขา แล้วค่อยๆ เพิ่มขึ้น เรียนรู้คำศัพท์ที่ใช้ประจำวันทุกวัน การฝึกฝนให้เป็นประจำเป็นหลักสำคัญ ไม่ต้องกลัวว่าจะพูดผิด การพูดผิดถือเป็นการเรียนรู้ ทำให้เรารู้ว่าการพูดให้ถูกนั้นพูดอย่างไร เหมือนการหัดขี่จักรยาน ต้องล้มก่อนถึงจะรู้ว่าขี่อย่างไรไม่ให้ล้ม ล้มแล้วลุกขึ้นหัดใหม่ อย่าคิดว่าการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษเป็นเรื่องที่ยาก เจตคติที่จะเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษเป็นเรื่องสำคัญที่จะทำให้การเรียนพัฒนาไปได้ดีหรือไม่ดี เหมือนสำนวนที่ว่า
“ ไม่เจ็บ ไม่จำ”

การเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษ ต้องจำสองคำนี้ไว้ให้แม่น ฝึกฝน และมั่นใจ ฝึกฝนทุกวัน และ มั่นใจที่จะพูด ถ้าทำได้ทุกวัน ไม่นานคุณเองจะรู้สึกได้ว่า ภาษาอังกฤษของคุณนั้นดีขึ้นทุกวัน เมื่อเริ่มมีความมั่นใจ คุณก็จะรู้สึกอยากพูดมากขึ้น สร้างความมั่นใจโดยบอกตัวเองเสมอว่า “เราทำได้ เราทำได้”
ขอให้จำไว้ว่า บทเรียนของเรานั้นสำหรับทุกคน หวังให้ทุกบทเรียนมีประโยชน์ แม้คำบางคำอาจจะดูง่าย แต่บางคำก็เป็นคำใหม่ จำไว้เสมอว่า บทเรียนของเราสำหรับทุกคน รวมทั้งครูผู้สอน
การเรียนภาษาอังกฤษต้องเรียนต้องสอนด้วยความสนุกสนาน

Why do we need to learn English ?
Of course one of the reasons why we need to able to speak English nowadays, is because the world is becoming smaller. Thanks to the internet and our developing global economy more and more people are using English as a common way to communicate with each other. So now it has become unavoidable that companies and large business will need to employ people who can speak more than their own native language. That is where English comes in…It is now officially considered as an international language.
Of course learning anything is difficult and English is no exception. However, there are ways to make the situation easier. We have come up with our own list of general rules for learning English.
Do you want to hear them? Do you want to know what they are? Ok…Let’s go!
Learning English takes time and patience. It can not be rushed. Try to relax and take it easy. The most important thing you need at the beginning is a good vocabulary. Without words, you have nothing to work with. You must start with a strong foundation or base and slowly build on it, day by day! You must view English as a part of your body… just as you would, an arm or a leg. It must become a part of your everyday life. Daily practice is very important. Do not worry about making mistakes. In fact the more mistakes you make… the
more you will learn from them. Just like learning to ride a bike. Sometimes you fall off. So what do you do? You get back on and try again. Do not look at English as just another subject. Your attitude to English and the way you view it will decide how well you progress. Just as we say in English..
“No pain …No gain ”
The two most important words to remember when learning English are
Practice and Confidence.
Practice English everyday and be confident. You will find that the more you use English … the better your English will become, and the more confident you become … then the more you will want to use it. Make it a rule to tell yourself… “ I can do it … I can do it … !!!! “

Saa has been one of our key teachers for several years. A graduate in teaching Thai language, she quickly embraced the new teaching method of Thai that we employ at Sirada.

Bill Evans is one of our English teachers. Bill has a BA from University of Brighton and Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from University of Westminister. And TEFL from Brighton.

Dr John McMorris is from the U.K., and takes care of our higher-level English classes. John has a B.Sc., from Brunel University, Ph.D. from the University of Leeds and CertTESOL from Trinity College in London

I would like to give you some feedback about your school. Firstly can I say from the very first time I walked into your office I felt that I was being looked after. The help I have received from all of your staff has been really great. But the help I have received from Saa, my teacher, has been second to none, her teaching methods are absolutely fantastic. I have always struggled to learn from a teacher but I find it so enjoyable and informative.
I have learnt so much both in her conversation class and her Thai wriyinh ting class. I was so disappointed to go back to UK but I had to for business reasons. I am hoping to be back in Thailand at the end of July. I will contact you and book in on the earliest course, obviously in one of Saa’s classes. Not to say that your other Teachers are not good it is just that I feel relaxed with Saa and she is so good.

Our location. Right in the heart of Hua Hin

We have decided to close our new school on Soi 88. Why? Because of the exorbitant $$ demands by certain members of the local bureaucracy.

However, we have managed to obtain the entire top floor of the building we now occupy - Wongchomsin Building, where commencing today we will start constructing 5 classrooms plus a "Coffee area where one can relax, chat, read, drink, etc. Construction will be finished by the end of this month.
