GOLDEN HOUR BY THE PALM
"Where the sun melts into water and palms whisper to the wind, time pauses.
A moment of island light, held forever in colour." 🌿✨

Warm amber light kisses tropical palms and reeds. Water mirrors fire and foliage in loose strokes, capturing fleeting stillness where nature breathes in quiet, glowing peace.

Circles, lines, and stories that dance. I painted stories of the earth. 🌾
Warli taught me that art is life — a dance, a harvest, a home, all in simple lines. ✨

I attended a beautiful Warli Art Workshop at IGCIC - ICCR in Mauritius and learned to paint tribal life — huts, harvest, music, and community — with simple geometric strokes. Each figure tells a story of harmony with nature. Grateful for this soulful experience.🎨

The session introduced us to the ancient tribal Warli painting tradition from Maharashtra — an art form that uses basic circles, triangles and squares to depict daily village life, festivals, farming and unity.

It was a deeply enriching experience to connect with Indian heritage through art.

Heartfelt thanks to IGCIC and the team for organizing this magical workshop where culture spoke through my brush. This beautiful workshop cultivated and strengthened cultural bonds between India and Mauritius 🙏
