SIH Lockdown and Evacuation Drill

On Monday morning, students and staff completed a whole-school lockdown and evacuation drill as part of our established safeguarding and emergency procedures. Lockdown and evacuation procedures have been embedded in our practice for many years, with regular drills ensuring that students and staff remain familiar with what to do and can respond calmly, quickly and safely in an emergency.

With school safety continuing to be an important focus across Thailand, these drills also give us an opportunity to review our procedures, check that our systems are working effectively and reinforce the responsibilities we all share in keeping our school community safe.

Our students responded extremely well, listening carefully and following instructions calmly and sensibly throughout. Regular preparation is an important part of keeping our community safe and this drill reflects our ongoing commitment to ensuring SIH remains Safe, Inclusive and Holistic for everyone.



SIH จัดการซ้อม Lockdown และอพยพฉุกเฉิน

เมื่อเช้าวันจันทร์ที่ผ่านมา นักเรียนและบุคลากรของ SIH ได้เข้าร่วม การซ้อม Lockdown และการอพยพฉุกเฉินทั้งโรงเรียน ซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของมาตรการด้านความปลอดภัย และการคุ้มครองนักเรียน (Safeguarding and Emergency Procedures) ของโรงเรียน

แนวทางการ Lockdown และการอพยพฉุกเฉิน ได้ถูกนำมาใช้และฝึกฝนอย่างต่อเนื่องมาเป็นเวลาหลายปี โดยโรงเรียนจัดให้มีการซ้อมเป็นประจำ เพื่อให้นักเรียน และบุคลากรคุ้นเคยกับขั้นตอนที่ควรปฏิบัติ และสามารถรับมือกับสถานการณ์ฉุกเฉินได้อย่าง สงบ รวดเร็ว และปลอดภัย

ในช่วงเวลาที่ประเด็นด้านความปลอดภัยในโรงเรียนยังคงเป็นเรื่องสำคัญ การซ้อมในครั้งนี้ยังเป็นโอกาสให้เราได้ ทบทวนขั้นตอนการปฏิบัติงาน ตรวจสอบประสิทธิภาพของระบบต่าง ๆ และสร้างความเข้าใจถึงความรับผิดชอบร่วมกันของทุกคนในการดูแลความปลอดภัยของชุมชนโรงเรียน

เราขอชื่นชมนักเรียนทุกคนที่ให้ความร่วมมือเป็นอย่างดี ตั้งใจรับฟัง และปฏิบัติตามคำแนะนำอย่างสงบ มีสติ และเหมาะสมตลอดการซ้อม

Discover, Learn & Grow Beyond the Classroom at SIH!

On Friday, we held our ECA Fair, giving students and parents the chance to meet our external providers and in-house staff and explore the fantastic range of activities available for Term 1.

From LEGO, mini sports, cooking, arts and crafts and dance for our younger learners, to basketball, futsal, volleyball, chess, music, pottery, public speaking, AI Agents and Automation, the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Gym Club and academic support, there really is something for everyone!

It was great to see students exploring their options and deciding what they would like to try this term. We are looking forward to another busy term of learning, creating, competing and trying something new beyond the classroom!

Registration for Term 1 closes on Thursday 27th August, so get your selections in quick!

เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ผ่านมา เราได้จัดงาน ECA Fair เปิดโอกาสให้นักเรียนและผู้ปกครองได้พบปะพูดคุยกับผู้ให้บริการกิจกรรมภายนอกและทีมงานของโรงเรียน พร้อมสำรวจกิจกรรม Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) ที่หลากหลายสำหรับภาคเรียนที่ 1

สำหรับนักเรียนรุ่นเล็ก มีกิจกรรมให้เลือกมากมาย ไม่ว่าจะเป็น LEGO, Mini Sports, Cooking, Arts & Crafts และ Dance

ขณะที่นักเรียนระดับโตขึ้นสามารถเลือกกิจกรรมที่หลากหลายยิ่งขึ้น เช่น Basketball, Futsal, Volleyball, Chess, Music, Pottery, Public Speaking, AI Agents and Automation, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Gym Club รวมถึงกิจกรรมเสริมด้านวิชาการ

เป็นเรื่องน่ายินดีที่ได้เห็นนักเรียนเดินชมกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ พูดคุยกับคุณครูและผู้ฝึกสอน พร้อมทั้งเลือกกิจกรรมที่พวกเขาสนใจและอยากลองเรียนรู้ในภาคเรียนนี้

Celebrating Our 2026 Examination Results

We are delighted to celebrate the achievements of our IGCSE and AS/A Level students following the release of this year's Cambridge International and Oxford AQA examination results.

Our students achieved a 94% overall pass rate at both IGCSE and AS/A Level, alongside some exceptional individual subject performances. Particularly impressive were our IGCSE results, with 100% A* in English Literature, 50% A and 100% A-C in First Language English and 43% A*/A and 100% A-C in Thai.

At AS/A Level, we were delighted to see strong performances across the sciences, mathematics and computer science, including 100% A grades in Computer Science and 100% B or above in Chemistry, Biology and Physics.

As a non-selective, inclusive international school, we are incredibly proud of what these results represent. Our students come from a wide range of backgrounds, abilities and levels of English proficiency, and every result reflects their individual progress, determination and hard work.

Congratulations to all of our students, and thank you to the families who have supported them throughout their studies. We are very proud of you all!



Celebrating Our 2026 Examination Results

เรามีความยินดีเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่ได้ร่วมเฉลิมฉลองความสำเร็จของนักเรียนระดับ IGCSE และ AS/A Level หลังจากการประกาศผลการสอบประจำปีจาก Cambridge International และ Oxford AQA

ในปีนี้ นักเรียนของเรามี อัตราการสอบผ่านโดยรวมสูงถึง 94% ทั้งในระดับ IGCSE และ AS/A Level พร้อมผลงานที่โดดเด่นในหลายรายวิชา

Today, Ms Amisha and Ms Sarah welcomed our Secondary students back for the start of a new academic year.

Students were encouraged to reflect on the previous year and think about what they would like to achieve, improve, or change moving forward.

The assembly also revisited our school Mission and Vision, exploring what these values look like in our classrooms and across the wider school community.

Expectations for the year ahead were reinforced, alongside an introduction to our new B.Y.O.D. policy, ensuring everyone starts the year on the same page.

We finished with an inspiring and motivational video, encouraging students to begin the new academic year with a positive mindset, clear goals, and the determination to make it a successful one!



ก้าวเข้าสู่ปีการศึกษาใหม่ไปด้วยกัน!

วันนี้ Ms Amisha และ Ms Sarah ได้ต้อนรับนักเรียนระดับ Secondary กลับสู่โรงเรียน เพื่อเริ่มต้นปีการศึกษาใหม่อย่างเต็มไปด้วยพลัง และความพร้อม

นักเรียนได้รับการชวนให้ย้อนมองถึงปีการศึกษาที่ผ่านมา พร้อมสะท้อนความคิดว่า ในปีนี้พวกเขาต้องการ “ทำอะไรให้สำเร็จ พัฒนาอะไรให้ดีขึ้น หรือเปลี่ยนแปลงอะไร” เพื่อก้าวไปข้างหน้าอย่างมั่นใจ

ในการ Assembly ครั้งนี้ นักเรียนยังได้ทบทวน Mission และ Vision ของโรงเรียน พร้อมพูดคุยถึงความหมาย และการนำค่านิยมเหล่านี้ไปปฏิบัติจริง ทั้งในห้องเรียน และในชุมชนโรงเรียนโดยรวม

นอกจากนี้ ยังได้มีการเน้นย้ำถึง ความคาดหวังสำหรับปีการศึกษาใหม่ รวมถึงแนะนำ นโยบาย B.Y.O.D. (Bring Your Own Device) เพื่อให้ทุกคนเข้าใจแนวทางเดียวกัน และพร้อมเริ่มต้นปีการศึกษาอย่างราบรื่น

ปิดท้าย Assembly ด้วย วิดีโอสร้างแรงบันดาลใจและกำลังใจ เพื่อกระตุ้นให้นักเรียนเริ่มต้นปีการศึกษาใหม่ด้วยทัศนคติเชิงบวก มีเป้าหมายที่ชัดเจน และความมุ่งมั่นที่จะทำให้ปีนี้เป็นอีกหนึ่งปีแห่งความสำเร็จ!

ขอให้ปีการศึกษา 2026–2027 เป็นปีแห่งการเรียนรู้ การพัฒนา และการก้าวข้ามขีดจำกัดของตัวเองสำหรับนักเรียนทุกคน!

Ready, Set, Grow!

Our first Primary Assembly of the new academic year was all about starting as we mean to go on - setting expectations, thinking about our goals and getting ready for a positive year ahead.

The beginning of a new school year is an important opportunity to reset and refocus. Our students reflected on the choices they can make each day to help themselves and others learn, grow and succeed.

Throughout the assembly, our Safe, Inclusive and Holistic values were at the heart of our discussions. Students thought about how the choices they make help to create a safe and positive environment, how kindness and respect ensure everyone feels included and valued and how success is about more than academic achievement.

We want our students to grow in confidence, resilience and independence, while supporting one another and playing an active part in our SIH community.



Ready, Set, Grow! เริ่มต้นปีใหม่ พร้อมเติบโตไปด้วยกัน!

การประชุมรวมระดับ Primary Assembly ครั้งแรกของปีการศึกษาใหม่ เต็มไปด้วยเรื่องราวสำคัญเกี่ยวกับการเริ่มต้นปีการศึกษาอย่างมีเป้าหมาย การสร้างความคาดหวังที่ดี การตั้งเป้าหมาย และการเตรียมพร้อมสำหรับปีการศึกษาที่เต็มไปด้วยพลังบวก

การเริ่มต้นปีการศึกษาใหม่ถือเป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการ เริ่มต้นใหม่และกลับมาโฟกัสกับสิ่งที่สำคัญ นักเรียนได้ร่วมกันสะท้อนความคิดถึงทางเลือกและการตัดสินใจที่พวกเขาสามารถทำได้ในแต่ละวัน เพื่อช่วยให้ตนเองและผู้อื่นสามารถเรียนรู้ พัฒนา และประสบความสำเร็จไปด้วยกัน

​This morning, Ms. Pam, our Community and Careers Officer, hosted Miss Thavaree Viboonpun (Yui), School Network Development for International Program from Bangkok University, to explore exciting new higher-education pathways and collaboration opportunities for our secondary students.

​At Southern International School Hatyai, we are committed to opening doors to top-tier universities, innovative degree programs, and global career pathways. Today’s discussions focused on potential workshops, portfolio preparation guidance, and early admission opportunities to help our students succeed beyond graduation.
