🌤️ Morning Greeting | Starting the Day with a Warm Welcome

A simple “Good morning” before class may seem like a small routine, but for children, it is an important opportunity to learn communication, good manners, confidence, and how to interact positively with others.

Every morning at AMEC Tondee School, our students greet their teachers and friends before entering the classroom. Through eye contact, warm smiles, the traditional Thai wai, and polite words, children learn to acknowledge others, express themselves appropriately, and begin the day feeling safe, welcomed, and connected to their school community. ❤️

🎨🗣️ Art does more than develop creativity—it also provides a meaningful space for children to use English naturally.

During art class, students practice communicating in English while they work. They name colors, describe what they are drawing, ask for materials, and exchange ideas with their teachers and classmates.

When English moves beyond textbooks and becomes part of real-life situations, children gradually strengthen their listening and speaking skills. At the same time, they build the confidence to communicate without being afraid of making mistakes.

Drawing and coloring also give students opportunities to make choices, express their imagination, and create work in their own unique ways. Throughout the process, teachers ask guiding questions, encourage deeper thinking, and inspire students to use English naturally. 🌈✨

This is integrated learning at Tondee Sueksa School. Our students do not study English and art as two separate subjects. Instead, they use language as a tool to think, communicate, and create meaningful work.

🌾 จากผืนนา...สู่ห้องเรียนแห่งชีวิต

เด็กจะเรียนรู้ได้ดีที่สุด เมื่อสิ่งที่เรียนเชื่อมโยงกับโลกจริง ไม่ใช่เพียงจากหนังสือหรือหน้าจอ แต่จากการได้สัมผัส สังเกต ตั้งคำถาม และลงมือทำด้วยตนเอง

วันนี้ คุณครูและนักเรียนโรงเรียนต้นดีศึกษาได้ลงพื้นที่สำรวจแปลงนา ซึ่งกำลังจะกลายเป็น "ห้องเรียนกลางธรรมชาติ" ของเราในอีกไม่กี่วันข้างหน้า

ที่นี่ เด็ก ๆ จะไม่ได้เพียงเรียนรู้วิธีดำนา แต่จะได้ค้นพบว่า...

🌧️🎨 When Little Drops of Color Become a Rainstorm of Learning

Science learning in early childhood does not begin with memorizing answers. It begins with observing, experimenting, and discovering through hands-on experiences.

In this Kindergarten 3 activity, the children carefully dropped colors onto a layer of oil floating on water. As the color droplets slowly passed through the oil and entered the water, they created beautiful patterns that looked like colorful rain. 🌈✨

Behind this fascinating experiment, the children practiced observing changes, comparing water and oil, predicting what might happen, and patiently waiting to see the results. Using droppers also helped strengthen their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

The teacher’s role was not simply to demonstrate the experiment, but to design a meaningful learning experience that encouraged children to explore, ask questions, and discover answers for themselves.

การเรียนรู้วิทยาศาสตร์สำหรับเด็กปฐมวัย ไม่ได้เริ่มจากการท่องจำคำตอบ แต่เริ่มจากการได้สังเกต ทดลอง และค้นพบด้วยตนเอง

ในกิจกรรมของเด็ก ๆ ชั้นอนุบาล 3 วันนี้ คุณครูชวนเด็กทดลองหยดสีลงบนชั้นน้ำมันที่ลอยอยู่เหนือน้ำ เมื่อหยดสีค่อย ๆ ผ่านชั้นน้ำมันลงสู่น้ำ จึงเกิดเป็นลวดลายคล้าย “ฝนสี” ที่สวยงามและน่าตื่นเต้น 🌈✨

เบื้องหลังความสวยงามนี้ เด็ก ๆ ได้ฝึกสังเกตการเปลี่ยนแปลงของสิ่งต่าง ๆ เรียนรู้ความแตกต่างของน้ำ น้ำมัน และสี พร้อมทั้งฝึกคาดเดาผล รอคอยอย่างมีสมาธิ และใช้กล้ามเนื้อมัดเล็กจากการบีบหลอดหยดอย่างระมัดระวัง

บทบาทของคุณครูไม่ได้เพียงสาธิตให้เด็กดู แต่คือการออกแบบสถานการณ์ เปิดพื้นที่ให้เด็กได้ทดลอง ตั้งคำถาม และค้นพบคำตอบด้วยตนเอง

📚✏️ Read to Understand, Draw to Express — Because Meaningful English Learning Must Be Used in Real Life

For Grade 1 students, reading an English sentence is not simply about pronouncing the words correctly. Children should also understand its meaning and be able to express what they have read through their own ideas and drawings.

The “Read and Draw” worksheet invites students to read simple sentences featuring the short “e” sound and draw pictures that match each sentence, such as:

“I see a red jet.”
“My pet hen is wet.”

Through this activity, children develop:

🌙✨ Why Does a School Still Teach Traditional Thai Dance in the Age of AI?

Because great education is not only about helping children become smart—it is about helping them develop focus, self-discipline, confidence, and a deep appreciation for their cultural identity.

💃 In today's Thai Dance Club, Teacher Nuch and Teacher Bualoy guided our students as they practiced the traditional Thai dance "Duang Jan Kwan Fah" (Moon of the Beloved Sky). Through every graceful hand movement, step, and rhythm, students learned to move in harmony while expressing the elegance of Thai culture.

This is more than a dance lesson—it is Evidence of Learning.

Throughout the activity, students developed:

At AMEC Tondee School, our students visited a real rice field to explore the first stage of our Chiang Rai Rice Innovators Project. Before planting rice, they observed the field, learned about soil preparation, and discovered how rice cultivation begins.

🌾🚜 Before Children Plant Rice… They Need to Understand Where Rice Begins

Many people see rice planting as just another school activity. At AMEC Tondee School, however, we believe that meaningful learning begins with understanding the entire process. When children know where their food comes from, they learn to appreciate nature, value the hard work of farmers, and understand that every successful harvest starts with careful preparation.

In today's Chiang Rai Rice Innovators class, our teachers took students outside the classroom to observe Mr. Somboon preparing the rice field by plowing the soil, getting everything ready for Thursday's rice planting activity.

Through this authentic learning experience, students discovered: 🌱 Why the soil must be prepared before planting rice.
💧 How healthy soil supports the growth of strong rice plants.
❓ How to observe, ask questions, and connect what they see today with what they will experience firsthand in the field.

This activity is more than a field visit—it is evidence of learning that reflects our Learning by Doing philosophy. Rather than simply reading about agriculture, students experience real-life situations that help them develop genuine understanding.
