Friendship activities are always a great idea!

Our children enjoyed the Balloon Friendship activity, where they worked together to hold a balloon using teamwork and trust, along with Face Tracing each other using recycled lids from cupcake boxes.
These activities help strengthen friendships, encourage cooperation, and build joyful connections.

In Thai Culture class, we learned about the Songkran Festival. We started by greeting each other with a wai, singing สวัสดี song, and dancing to “รำวงเริงสงกรานต์” and “โอ้...ทะเลแสนงาม.”
We enjoyed listening to a story about Songkran told through the characters Kung King and her family. Songkran in Thailand is a festival and also a special time for families, when everyone returns home to reunite with grandparents. During this time, families take part in activities together such as building sand pagodas at the temple, playing water, making merit, pouring water over Buddha images, and performing the Rod Nam Dam Hua ceremony to ask for blessings from elders like grandparents. Families also cook and share meals together.
After that, we made Songkran necklaces or garlands. We also performed the Rod Nam Dam Hua ceremony to receive blessings from our teacher and built sand pagodas together.

Happy Songkran Day! 💦🌸

Songkran is the Thai New Year festival, celebrated every April. It is a time for family, gratitude, and new beginnings.

At Bright Seeds, our children enjoyed special Songkran activities in Thai Culture Class. They listened to the story “Kung King Enjoys Songkran (กุ๋งกิ๋งสุขสันต์วันสงกรานต์)”, experienced the tradition of pouring water over teachers’ hands as a sign of respect, and had fun making sandcastles.

A big thank you to our wonderful Sunshine Seedlings’ mom for joining us during library time and reading the lovely story ‘Bear Can’t Sleep’. The children were so excited to have a parent come and share a story with them. They listened so carefully, were fully engaged, and showed great enthusiasm throughout the reading.

It was such a joyful and meaningful experience, helping to inspire a love of books and storytelling in our little learners. Thank you again for making our library time extra special! 📚✨

Our Twinkling Seeds children had lots of fun with a variety of egg-themed activities. From filling plastic eggs with their choice of materials such as dried oats, rainbow rice, red beans, and other exciting rattling items, to make egg shakers, to creating patterns on eggs with loose parts.

The children also enjoyed shaping and creating their own playdough eggs and matching egg patterns!

It was a joyful session filled with creativity, hands-on learning, and lots of happy discoveries! 🐣✨
