Congratulations to Dr. Non Natchanon for your hard work and for starting your first step in the international scientific journey. Chidchanok Ruengorn Ked Thavorn

This project will summarize all available evidence regarding the association between oral health conditions and the risk of major NCDs. Ultimately, findings from the evidence-based synthesis will further inform the WHO Global Strategy for Oral Health agenda for effective coverage surveillance of public oral health conditions.

Once again with the British Journal of Dermatology (BJD, 2022 Journal Impact Factor 10.3): “Psychometric Evaluation of the Multidimensional Scale-Uremic Pruritus in Dialysis Patients (UP-Dial): Comparison in Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis Patients with Chronic Pruritus”. Chidchanok Ruengorn Ked Thavorn Mati Chuamanochan

Based on Patient-Reported Outcome (PRO) measures, this validation study consisted of 226 hemodialysis and 327 peritoneal dialysis patients with chronic pruritus. The UP-Dial 14-item demonstrated adequate validity (face, convergent, and discriminant) and reliability (internal consistency and reproducibility) for evaluating and capturing the burden of pruritus symptoms among dialysis patients with chronic pruritus. This study yields support for the transferability of using the UP-Dial 14-items as a PRO measure in future chronic pruritus clinical trials and alongside clinical practice.
