At Wichai Wittaya Cambridge Program we understand that parents have many questions that need to be answered before deciding which school would best serve their child’s (or children’s) needs. 1. We therefore have the benefit of over sixteen years experience with this system of education to share with our students.
2. WWCP is part of a wider network of schools
We also have two sister schools in Bangkok that run English programs (Chindamanee and Siriwat Wittaya Bilingual Schools). Therefore we have a broad basis of shared knowledge and experience at our disposal. Our international connections also provide opportunities for our students to study in other countries.
3. Experienced teachers in a modern classroom setting
In our classrooms we combine qualified and experienced foreign teachers with the latest technology for teaching (including interactive Smart Boards in all KG and Primary classrooms). Furthermore, our rooms are air-conditioned to create a comfortable environment conducive to learning.
4. Your child gets attention
We believe it is vital every student receives personal attention. In KG Section we employ three teachers per class. In the Primary and Secondary Sections we employ two teachers per class. We also limit the number of students per class: 25 students for a KG classroom and 30 students for a Primary and Secondary classroom.
5. We cater for students of all abilities
Our educational philosophy is that no student should be left behind or held back in learning. We offer a variety of courses to prepare our students for the curriculum they will follow. These include:
- English courses for newly enrolled students.
- Summer courses for KG and Primary Section students.
- Preparatory courses for entrance into universities
Furthermore, students that show a particular talent in any given subject area will be assigned a course tutor to encourage the development of that special skill. We sincerely aim to meet the needs of all the young people that come to MWEP for an education.
6. We strive for high standards
At WWCP we emphasize the importance of high standards both academically and ethically. We are proud to have a 100% pass rate success of Grade 12 students into higher education.
7. Health and safety
We understand that our first priority is the safety of the children that are entrusted to our care on a daily basis. Therefore we implement strict security rules for students exiting the school premises. There is constant supervision of the students by our staff during school hours but in case of accidents we employ a nurse on-site that students can go to for any necessary medical attention. We also provide accident insurance for all our students.
8. A variety of activities
At WWCP we see the value of students learning outside. Therefore we organize regular trips to the best local research institutions as part of their education. Again, health and safety is always paramount in our minds on these occasions and so we always send an adequate number of responsible teachers with our students when they visit other locations.
9. Maintaining Thai culture
Above all, at WWCP we know that we serve our local community. Therefore we strive to keep the cultural heritage of Northern Thailand as part of the fabric of our education. We instill in our students the utmost respect for the Nation, His Majesty The King and the Thai people whom we seek to serve for many years to come.
