Learning to become a Thai Mahout (Elephant Caretaker) at ❤️🐘

Learn the traditional art of Thai elephant care and make natural herbal soap from the Saba vine ( Snuffbox bean vine ) to bathe our elephants in the stream. 🌿🐘

At Hug Chang Chiang Mai, we give everyone the opportunity to experience Thai elephant care up close — from hugging elephants and preparing healthy supplementary food to feeding and spending meaningful time with them, all under the supervision of professional mahouts and experienced multilingual instructors.

It is considered the traditional Thai New Year according to ancient Thai culture.🙏❤️

👉During this time, people celebrate Songkran by splashing water to cool off and to welcome the New Year.❤️
