Language Corner

To Enjoy, To Learn, To Succeed Language Corner's History:
Language Corner was founded in Chiang Mai by Waraporn (Tuk) Cholvisit and Warunee Swanson in 1996.

At that time, Mrs. Swanson was the head of the ESL Department at an international school and had been teaching for more than 20 years. Khun Tuk had previously worked in a bank and owned a small business before opening Language Corner. She is also the mother of a student who attended and graduated from an international school in Chiang Mai. Since 1996, hundreds of students who have studied at Langu

age Corner have reached success, whether they came to our school for assistance in English as a Second Language (ESL), math (basic to AP Calculus), chemistry (fundamentals to AP Chemistry), writing (academic, business, and creative), or preparation for standardized tests such as the SAT, IELTS, and TOEFL. Past students from Language Corner have gone on to continue their education at top universities in the United States, England, Australia, Thailand, and other countries.
