🚍Field Trip to the CMU Farm Agricultural Center! KG1,2,3 students embarked on a journey to learn about agriculture and farming. We learned about some of the different types of vegetables, as well as learning to plant our own lettuce to grow at home! The best part was going hunting for duck eggs in the field! We hope parents will make some delicious meals with the duck eggs brought home! 😋

And for our preschoolers, they went on their first and last field trip of the year to Little Soul Planet! What a wonderful time it was for students and teachers to bond, play and socialize outside of school! We love seeing all the smiles and memories they make. 💖

From tiny toes to the edge of the galaxy, it has been an unforgettable week at Hana Christian International Kindergarten! Our K2 astronauts blasted off to explore the stars 🚀 while K1 served up smiles during their delicious pizza study 🍕 K3 spent the week honoring our local heroes and community helpers 👩‍🚒 and our preschool explorers learned all about animals and their own busy feet and legs 🐥👣

Yesterday was such a blast for Thai Culture Day at Hana! Our kiddos took a break from the usual to dive into the beautiful traditions of our home here in Chiang Mai.
​The highlights:
🏃​Games: Lots of laughs playing Mon Son Pha and Ri Ri Kao San.
🥭​Treats: We made mango sticky rice and sampled some famous Thai desserts!
🙏🏻​Culture: Practicing our "Wai" and playing with traditional pottery toys and coloring kites.
​It’s so special seeing them embrace the kindness and fun of Thai culture. Check out the highlights!🌟

🍿 Movie Magic at HCIK! 🎥
​Our K3 students completely melted our hearts yesterday! They hosted a special Movie Day for their younger friends in K1 and K2, and seeing them step up was such a beautiful sight.

​The school was buzzing as our K3 "staff" took charge:
🎟️ Ticketing Booth: Greeting friends with the sweetest smiles.
🍿 Snack Bar: Serving treats with so much focus and care.
🔦 Ushers: Gently guiding the little ones to their seats.

​Role playing isn't just play; it actually builds incredible empathy! By "walking in someone else's shoes"—whether as a helpful usher or a busy seller—our children are learning to notice and care for the needs of those around them. 🧡

We are blooming into the wonders of God’s creation!🌿🦋

Did you know that Show & Tell is one of the first ways children build confidence in public speaking at Hana? It is such a special time for our little ones to find their voice and share their thoughts! 🗣️✨

​Our little ones were so brave today! From checking tiny fingernails and sparkly teeth to ears, physical growth, and developmental milestones, everyone did a wonderful job. 🩺

🍔Yesterday, our K1 through K3 students enjoyed a wonderful hands-on learning experience at McDonald’s Kad Farang. The children were given a special behind the scenes tour of the drive through and practiced their social skills by "pretend ordering & paying" for their own mini cones.🍦

​The highlight of the day was the DIY burger station! Students assembled their own chicken burgers and it was a joy to see their creativity! We also definitely discovered some very enthusiastic ketchup fans in the group! 🍟🍅😆 They're lovin' it~
