เราพาเด็กทุกคนออกไปท่องโลกไม่ได้ แต่เราจะพาโลกมาหาเด็กเอง
วันที่ 7 มิ.ย. มีภาระกิจไปร่วมงานปฐมนิเทศและรับมอบครูอาสาสมัครชาวจีน จาก สป.อว. ที่จะมาสอนภาษาจีนที่วิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีและสหวิทยาการ มทร.ล้านนา เป็นระยะเวลา 1 ปี อยากจะทำหน้าที่นี้เองแม้หลายคนจะบอกว่าไม่ใช่หน้าที่ของผู้บริหารลงไปทำ แต่ก็เพราะอยากเข้าใจบริบทของการดำเนินการของ สป.อว. เนื่องจากเป็นปีแรกที่วิทยาลัยรับครูอาสาสมัครชาวจีนมา และอยากดูแลครูชาวต่างชาติเองเพราะเคยอยู่ในฐานะนักศึกษาต่างชาติไปอยู่ต่างประเทศหลายปี ได้รับการดูแลอย่างดีจากมหาวิทยาลัยที่ไปเรียน จากอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษา จึงคิดว่าถ้าเราในฐานะหัวหน้าส่วนที่รับผิดชอบนี้การที่เดินทางไปรับด้วยตัวเองก็ย่อมจะสร้างความมั่นใจ ความสบายใจให้กับผู้จะต้องห่างบ้านมาอยู่ต่างประเทศด้วยตัวเองเป็นระยะเวลานาน
ในฐานะตัวแทนของวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีและสหวิทยาการ คณาจารย์และนักศึกษา ขอขอบคุณ สป.อว. และผู้บริหาร มทร.ล้านนา ทุกท่านที่ให้การสนับสนุน
ขอบขอบคุณและยินดีต้อนรับครูอาสาสมัครชาวจีน Ms.Xiong, Yulan ที่เสียสละเดินทางมาปฏิบัติหน้าที่ในต่างประเทศเป็นระยะเวลาถึง 1 ปี สู่วิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีและสหวิทยาการ มทร.ล้านนา เชื่อว่าทักษะ ความสามารถของครูจะช่วยให้นักศึกษาของ วทส. และ มทร.ล้านนา ได้เรียนรู้ภาษาและวัฒนธรรมจีนอย่างเต็มที่อย่างแน่นอนครับ

We cannot take every child out to explore the world, but we will bring the world to the children themselves.
On June 7th, I was entrusted with the responsibility of attending the orientation ceremony and welcoming Chinese volunteer teacher from the Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation. These teacher will be serving a one-year term as Chinese language teacher at the College of Integrated Science and Technology, RMUTL. I wanted to take on this role myself even though many said it is not the duty of the director, but I wanted to understand the context of the Office's operations. Since this is the first year the college has accepted Chinese volunteer teachers, and I wanted to take care of the foreign teachers myself, having been an international student abroad for many years and receiving great care from the university I studied at (南臺科技大學 STUST) and my advisors (Prof. Chi-Jo Wang). I thought that as the director responsible, traveling to receive her myself would build confidence and reassurance for those who have to be away from home in a foreign country for a long period of time.
As the representative of the College of Integrated Science and Technology, on behalf of the faculty and students, I express sincere gratitude to the Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation and the administrative leadership of our university for their invaluable assistance.
Furthermore, I wholeheartedly welcome Ms. Xiong, Yulan, the Chinese volunteer teacher, whose selfless decision to serve in an international capacity for the duration of one year is truly commendable. I am confident that her proficiency and capabilities will undoubtedly facilitate a comprehensive and enriching learning experience for our students, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in the Mandarin language and Chinese cultural traditions.
