The (IPhYC) is a worldwide physics competition designed for high school and university students who are passionate about physics, problem-solving, and scientific thinking. The competition challenges participants with real-world and research-oriented physics problems that go beyond the standard school curriculum. Students compete through multiple rounds, developing analytical thinking, creativity, and deeper scientific understanding while engaging with an international community of young physicists. Participants can earn certificates, awards, and international recognition for their achievements.
Jacky won the bronze honor award. Below are his thoughts:
"Many thanks to my teachers and the school’s PTA for supporting me. This competition was the first physics contest I’ve ever participated in, it was a really enjoyable and interesting experience. I learned lots of new concepts during the preparation phase of the competition, which really boosted my understanding and helped to build a bigger, more complete physics framework in my head.
I would definitely do more physics competitions when given the opportunity."
