📢 The Language Institute invites Chiang Mai University students to apply for the “Language Partner” program! This is your chance to partner with international students from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA, and help them practice and improve their Thai language skills.

🎯 Program Objective: This program offers a unique opportunity to build lasting international friendships, enhance your communication skills in both Thai and English, and engage in meaningful cross-cultural exchange.

👉🏻 The Language Institute is inviting Chiang Mai University students to apply for the “CMU Buddy” program, where they will be buddies with international students from the University of Technology Sydney, Australia 2026 for cultural exchange.

👉🏻 Program Objective: This program aims to provide students with the opportunity to form friendships with international peers, enhance their foreign language communication skills, and engage in cultural exchange focused on cross-cultural activities, Nursing knowledge, and Midwifery.

💫 Free of charge, no fees involved.

✅What you will receive:
- A Certificate of Participation upon successful completion of the program activities.
- An official CMU Buddy T-shirt.
- Activity hours for the Student Loan Fund (SLF) or the Income Contingent Loan (ICL) program.

🌏 2024 Asia Culture Expedition: Dreaming of Another Asia 🌏

Eight students from the Language Institute Chiang Mai joined the “Dreaming of Another Asia” program in Gwangju, South Korea, from October 4 to 11, 2024.

They spent the week with young artists from Korea, Thailand, Mongolia, Indonesia, China, and Taiwan, taking part in cultural exchanges, public art projects, workshops, and tours of the city.

The program showed how art can revitalize communities and spark new ideas. Through festivals, exhibitions, and networking, participants shared experiences, built new friendships, and explored creative ways to work together.

They also learned how creativity can help solve real-world problems and bring positive change to their communities.

Our students came back inspired, with fresh ideas and connections that will help shape a more creative and connected Asia.

วันที่ 12 ธันวาคม 2562 เจ้าหน้าที่จากสถาบันภาษา มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ จัดการประชุมเตรียมความพร้อมกับผู้ปกครองและนักเรียนผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการทัศนศึกษาต่างประเทศ (CMU Tours - Study Abroad Program 2020) ณ โรงเรียนเรยีนาเชลีวิทยาลัย โดยครั้งนี้เป็นการชี้แจงรายละเอียดโครงการทัศนศึกษาที่ประเทศสิงคโปร์ และเมืองเซี่ยงไฮ้ สาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน

โดยคุณครูอัมภาพร จันทร์กระจ่าง ผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนเรยีนาเชลีวิทยาลัยได้กล่าวเปิดการประชุม จากนั้นทีมเจ้าหน้าที่จากสถาบันภาษาได้อธิบายรายละเอียดเกี่ยวกับโครงการเพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมให้แก่ผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการก่อนออกเดินทางไปต่างประเทศ

ซึ่งในช่วงหลังเทศกาลขึ้นปีใหม่ ทางสถาบันภาษาจะจัดกิจกรรมเตรียมความพร้อมทางด้านภาษาและวัฒนธรรมให้แก่ผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการอีกครั้ง

During this festive season, Language Institute Chiang Mai University (LICMU) staff organized a info-session for both the parents and students at Regina Coeli College who are enrolled for the Shanghai Study Tour and Singapore Study Tour program to take place in March 2020.

Regina Coeli College, led by their Director - Kru Ampaporn Chankrachang gave a welcome speech to all the parents and students for both programs, before LI staff deliver a debrief on what the students can expect when traveling to their respective countries.

A follow up language and culture session for both programs is expected to take place after the new year.
