Rock Painting Instructions

1. Paint your rock (acrylic paint works best) then let it dry.
2. Print and stick a QR code on the back of the rock.
3. Use a sealant spray to make the rock and code waterproof.
4. Let it dry.
5. Hide your rock somewhere around Chiang Mai, Thailand or wherever you are on your holidays!
6. Keep an eye on our Prem Rocks! Facebook group to see where the rocks are found.

Welcome to Prem Rocks!


Get involved with our great game of hide and seek with painted rocks. Paint your own rocks (see some posts below for inspiration), print out our unique QR codes and seal them carefully. Next, get outside wherever you are in the world to hide the rocks. Keep your eyes open on this page to see who finds your rock!


If you have found a rock, take a photo of it and where you found it. Post it to this page using the to let us know where you found it!

Safety is IMPORTANT!
1) When hiding rocks around the world, make sure you are keeping yourself safe and the friends who are finding them too! Be careful around roads & water, and always take an adult with you.
2) For Painting Rocks
Make sure you download and print out our QR code. Stick it to your finished rock, and then seal it with spray sealant (otherwise the rain will wash away your paint and the code which helps us play)
3) Be kind and courteous
We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.
