🌿 เรียนรู้นิเวศวิทยา สร้างการมีส่วนร่วมเพื่อการอนุรักษ์ “เต่าปูลู” 🐢
ดร. Mark Herse อาจารย์ประจำภาควิชาชีววิทยา คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ พร้อมด้วยผู้ช่วยวิจัย นางสาวนภสร ขุนทอง ได้ร่วมจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ให้แก่นักเรียนโรงเรียนบ้านน้ำมินและโรงเรียนราชานุเคราะห์ อำเภอเชียงคำ จังหวัดพะเยา เมื่อเดือนสิงหาคมที่ผ่านมา
กิจกรรมดังกล่าวเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของงานวิจัยด้านการอนุรักษ์แม่น้ำโดยการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนในพื้นที่ โดยคณะวิทยากรและนักเรียนได้ร่วมกันสำรวจแนวคิดพื้นฐานด้านนิเวศวิทยาและการอนุรักษ์ ผ่านกิจกรรมเชิงปฏิบัติและเกมการเรียนรู้ที่สนุกสนาน โดยมุ่งเน้นการสร้างความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับ “เต่าปูลู” สัตว์ป่าใกล้สูญพันธุ์ที่มีความสำคัญต่อระบบนิเวศของพื้นที่
กิจกรรมนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโครงการใหม่ที่บูรณาการเนื้อหาด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมเข้ากับการเรียนรู้ภาษา ดำเนินงานโดยสมาคมเพื่อการพัฒนาการศึกษาและการมีส่วนร่วมด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม (Association for Development of Environmental Education and Participation: DEEP)

🌿 Learning Ecology and Promoting Community Participation in Big-Headed Turtle Conservation 🐢
Dr. Mark Herse, a lecturer in the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University, together with research assistant Napposorn Khuntong, was delighted to engage with local schoolchildren at Ban Nammin School and Rachanukro School in Chiang Kham District, Phayao, in August.
The activities formed part of their community-based river conservation research in the region. Through a series of hands-on activities and educational games, the instructors and students explored fundamental concepts in ecology and conservation, with a particular focus on the endangered big-headed turtle.
These activities are part of a new Content and Language Integrated Learning program focusing on environmental education, led by the Association for Development of Environmental Education and Participation (DEEP).
