✨Concept

This art project aims to create a mixed-media installation that highlights the challenges and hardships present in the education system. The exhibition provides the audience with insight into the pressures and negative consequences that a flawed educational framework can impose on students, reflecting the author's perspective.

Additionally, the artwork seeks to inspire a more compassionate approach to teaching, promoting understanding, empathy, and connection. Ultimately, this can facilitate spiritual growth and personal transformation.

Afternoon Tea and War: Cultural Fragmentation Under Resource Struggle

• Concept

Afternoon Offensive/Tea in a Time of War In this era, peace is gradually crumbling, and the struggle for resources between different groups is intensifying. War is escalating. Most people still live in a peaceful world. But more and more people are suddenly forced to confront the hunger and death brought by war.

The inspiration comes from the artist's childhood when his grandfather would brew tea and tell him war stories—a tradition that instilled in the artist a lifelong habit of pairing tea with snacks. His grandfather taught the artist about tea while sharing his wartime stories from his youth, combined with the reality of escalating warfare in the present day. This work inspires artists to re-examine war, self-identity, and the relationship between resources, culture, and war through their art: how tea, as a resource and cultural ritual, reflects the essence of war—a power-driven conflict where rulers recklessly sacrifice human lives to seize resources. These insights motivate artists to use satire to convey the tragic consequences of war.

The artists are committed to integrating these personal experiences, emotional reflections, and academic insights into their artistic creations. Using tea, a medium carrying the symbolic meaning of traditional culture, as a vehicle, they employ techniques such as suspension installation art and material manipulation to create satirical artworks about war. These works not only mock the instigators of conflict and mourn the loss of life and resources caused by war, but also express a deep yearning for peace. It is hoped that this work will provoke deep reflection—whether in peaceful societies or war-torn regions—prompting people to consider: can conflict truly define life? Let us collectively explore alternative ways to resolve disputes beyond the battlefield.
