At our Little Veterinarian Camp, students explored the fascinating world of aquatic life at Maejo University, where they had the opportunity to learn directly from a professor specializing in aquatic animals.
In science, organisms that live in water are called aquatic organisms. These include:
• Aquatic animals (fish, shrimp, shellfish)
• Aquatic plants and algae
• Plankton (the foundation of aquatic food chains)
• Aquatic microorganisms, essential for nutrient cycling and ecosystem balance
Students also observed a guided fish anatomy demonstration to understand internal structures such as gills, digestive organs, and skeletal systems. This academic session helped them connect biological theory with real-life application in a respectful and educational setting.
A meaningful learning experience beyond the classroom — building scientific thinking, curiosity, and respect for aquatic ecosystems. 🌊✨
