The end of the land is where the water meets,
Thailand's border, stretching to its final line.
We can retreat no further now, the land's edge met by the vast sea.
In ancient times, our Thai nation was ravaged, our hearts trampled,
How many tears did we shed then? How much flesh and blood did we lose? Thai people remember it well.
We have retreated to this far place, gathering all Thais to live freely.
Phra Siam (the guardian deity of Thailand) has brought good fortune, this land, this territory, is our golden land.
There is no other place for Thais to claim.
We can retreat no further, my brethren.
