ไหน (nǎi) think of it as “which?” or “where?” depending on the noun that comes before it.

• อันไหน (an nǎi) = Which one?
• คนไหน (khon nǎi) = Which person?
• วันไหน (wan nǎi) = Which day?
• ทางไหน (thaang nǎi) = Which way?

The pattern is simple: Noun + ไหน = Which + noun?
