12-15 April is a Thai New Year's day since ancient times which has the following legend:
Long ago, there were two millionaires who had no children and near their house there was a poor couple with two children. One day the poor said to the rich. "You are rich but you don't have kid, even if I'm poor, I was much better than you because I have children for my family. The rich man, if you dies, all your belongings will become public."
Then the rich heard the poor said made he wanted a child. So he worshiped under the "Bodhi Tree" begging for a baby and 10 months later, the rich man's wife gave birth a son, and he named his child "Dhammapala"
When growing up, Dhammapala learned various subjects, he was intelligent and well versed in animal language. Later, the great Brahma named Thao Kabilprom was jealous and asked a question to challenge Dharmmapala.

"What are the "Ra-Sri of the human in the morning, afternoo and evening?" "I will give you 7 days, if you answer correctly I will cut off my neck down but if you answer wrong I will cut off your neck."
Dhammapala was unable to figure it out until the deadline was approaching and then he heard the answer from the two birds on the tree:
"The morning, Ra-Sri is on the face because human woke up in the morning so they washed face with water
The afternoon, Ra-Sri is on the chest because human rubbed their breasts with water.
That evening, Ra-Sri is at our feet because human brought water to wash their feet."
When Dharmapala could answer, Kabilphrom called his seven daughters and said: "When my head is cut off you have to put the pedestal on it and don't let it fall anywhere. If my head falls to the ground, the ground will catch fire, if it falls into the water, the water will dry up and if thrown into the sky, it will be drought. So, you must take turns to put it in the bowl to the large cave in Khao Krailas every year.

The seven daughters of Kabilphrom are named
Tungstdewi
Korakdevi
Raksadevi
Monthadevi
Kirineedevi
Kimintadevi
Mahodevi
In this year 2023, is the turn of Kimintadevi.

Makha Bucha Day is on the 15th day of the waxing moon of the 3rd month.
-The meaning of Makha Bucha Day:
The word "Maka" is the name of the third month, which stands for the word "Makaburanamee" that is mean "Worshiping Buddha images" on the full moon day of the Magha month according to the Indian calendar or the third month.

-Determination of Makha Bucha Day:
Determining Makha Bucha day according to the Thai lunar calendar will correspond to the 15th day of the waxing moon in the 3rd month, but if any year has a leap month, that is, there are two 8th months, the Makha Bucha day will be postponed to the 15th day of the 4th lunar month and usually falls on the February or March.

-The importance of Makha Bucha Day and the history of Makha Bucha Day:
The importance of Makha Bucha Day is the day that the Lord Buddha gave his "Ovadapatimokkha sermon" to the monks for the first time after enlightenment for 9 months. This doctrine is the principle and various methods of action. The summarized as the main idea will be "do good things, ignore evil and purify your mind".

-On Makha Bucha Day, the four miracles happened at the same time:
1. That day falls on the full moon day, the 15th day of the waxing moon, the 3rd month, when the moon is auspicious.
2. There were 1,250 monks who came together without an appointment at Wat Weruwan, Rajagha, Magadha to worship the Lord Buddha.
3. All the monks who attended the meeting were Arahant monks who received 6 Apiphanya.
4. All monks were ordained directly by the Buddha or "Ehi Bhikkhu Upasampada".

Christmas Eve is the evening or entire day before Christmas Day, the festival commemorating the birth of Jesus. Christmas Day is observed around the world, and Christmas Eve is widely observed as a full or partial holiday in anticipation of Christmas Day. Together, both days are considered one of the most culturally significant celebrations in Christendom and Western society.

Christmas celebrations in the denominations of Western Christianity have long begun on Christmas Eve, due in part to the Christian liturgical day starting at sunset, a practice inherited from Jewish tradition and based on the story of Creation in the Book of Genesis: "And there was evening, and there was morning – the first day." Many churches still ring their church bells and hold prayers in the evening; for example, the Nordic Lutheran churches. Since tradition holds that Jesus was born at night (based in Luke 2:6-8), Midnight Mass is celebrated on Christmas Eve, traditionally at midnight, in commemoration of his birth. The idea of Jesus being born at night is reflected in the fact that Christmas Eve is referred to as Heilige Nacht (Holy Night) in German, Nochebuena (the Good Night) in Spanish and similarly in other expressions of Christmas spirituality, such as the song "Silent Night, Holy Night".

Many other varying cultural traditions and experiences are also associated with Christmas Eve around the world, including the gathering of family and friends, the singing of Christmas carols, the illumination and enjoyment of Christmas lights, trees, and other decorations, the wrapping, exchange and opening of gifts, and general preparation for Christmas Day. Legendary Christmas gift-bearing figures including Santa Claus, Father Christmas, Christkind, and Saint Nicholas are also often said to depart for their annual journey to deliver presents to children around the world on Christmas Eve, although until the Protestant introduction of Christkind in 16th-century Europe,[10] such figures were said to instead deliver presents on the eve of Saint Nicholas' feast day (6 December).
