พืชสกุลพิศวง (Thismia) เป็นพืชดอกที่อาศัยเชื้อราในการเจริญเติบโต (myco-heterotrophic plant) จึงไม่ได้สร้างอาหารเอง โดยพืชสกุลนี้มีโครงสร้างดอกคล้ายเห็ด และมีขนาดไม่ใหญ่มาก ในภาพคือพิศวงเขาใหญ่ ช่วงนี้กำลังออกดอกบานเต็มพื้นเลยครับ

พืช🌲หลายชนิด เช่น ข้าว🌾 ถั่วเหลือง มะม่วง ทุเรียน จัดเป็นพืชในกลุ่มพืช C3
