The moment after graduation is both exciting and terrifying. Pride meets uncertainty, and suddenly the future feels wide open ð
Thatâs exactly where Sasithon Buamuangkao (Tik) found herself when she stepped into the next chapter of her life. Graduation marked a proud milestoneâbut she knew it wasnât the finish line. It was the beginning of growth, learning, and discovering where she truly belonged in the working world.
Not long after, Tik began her first job at BFITS Thailand. Everything felt newâthe responsibilities, the expectations, and the pace of real work. Like many at the start of their careers, she made mistakes and experienced moments of self-doubt. There were days that felt overwhelming, but she made a conscious choice: not to give up ð
Instead, she listened.
She asked questions.
She learned from the people around her.
Through everyday tasks and real challenges, Tik gained far more than technical skills. She learned how to manage her time, collaborate with others, and approach problems with growing confidence. She discovered the importance of patience, responsibility, and being open to feedbackâunderstanding that growth often comes quietly, one lesson at a time ð
Over time, something changed.
She began to believe in herself.
Her education found purpose in real-life application, and she gained clarity about her strengths and the areas where she could continue to improve. What began as a first job became a turning pointâshaping not just her career, but her mindset.
Tikâs journey is a reminder that the first step doesnât have to be perfectâit just has to be taken. With willingness, resilience, and the courage to learn, confidence naturally follows.
At BFITS, weâre proud to be part of that beginning ð§Ą A place where learning continues, growth is supported, and potential is discovered.

Growth doesnât always come from timeâit comes from courage ð The courage to step forward, take responsibility, and learn by doing.
Thatâs how Nutnaree Ruksachob Smith describes her journey at BFITS Thailand. Since joining BFITS in 2023, her time here may not measure long in yearsâbut it has been rich in experience, learning, and real growth.
Along the way, she discovered something powerful: age is never the limit. Willingness is.
When BFITS trusted her with the role of Operations Manager at a young age, it wasnât just a titleâit was an opportunity. An opportunity to make decisions, take ownership, and grow through action rather than observation.
Through real challenges and real responsibilities, Nut learned that leadership isnât about authorityâitâs about showing up, supporting others, and leading by example. She lives by a simple belief: âUnderstanding is earned through actions, not by standing on the sidelines.â
Every day, she puts that belief into practiceâlearning, adapting, and becoming stronger through experience. Her journey is a reminder that growth happens when trust is given, responsibility is embraced, and learning never stops.
Thank you, Nut, for choosing to step forwardâto grow, to learn, and to become a better version of yourself with us. Your journey reflects what BFITS stands for: opportunity, trust, and continuous growth ð§Ą

We end todayâs series of with a reminder that the right moment doesnât always come early ð
Some journeys donât begin straight out of university. Some begin with a leap of faithâyears later, in a new country, chasing a dream that never left.
Thatâs the story of Rachel Alderson ð
After 17 years in retail management in the UK, Rachel knew she was ready for something moreâsomething with meaning, purpose, and a connection to her passions.
With a degree in English and Classical History and a long-held dream of teaching abroad, she packed her bags and moved to Thailand in 2018.
She was 38.
It was bold. It was scary.
But it was the beginning of something beautiful.
What started as a âmaybe one or two yearsâ plan turned into sevenâand counting.
Her first role, teaching conversational English at Saipanyarangsit School (SPR BFITS Program), taught her patience, resilience, and how joy fuels learning.
She then moved to Panyapiwat Institute of Management Demonstration School (SPIM BFITS Program) as an M3 (Grade 9) EP teacher, where students still reach out years later for grammar help at university.
And for 5 unforgettable years, she led as Head Teacher at St. Joseph Convent School (SJC BFITS Program) in the heart of Bangkok, guiding both the EP and ICEP programsâand proudly hosting the first-ever TEDx event between SJC and BFITS.
Now, Rachel serves as Program Manager for six BFITS partner schools across Bangkok, Nakhon Pathom, and Surat Thani.
Each day brings something newâchallenges to grow from, opportunities to learn, and stories to shape.
Her journey reminds us all:
Itâs never too late to rewrite your story.
You donât have to settle.
You can pivot. You can leap.
And when you do it with heart, you just might discover your purpose in the most unexpected place.
Hereâs to Rachel ð§Ą
A leader who proves that itâs never too late to chase meaningâand never too early to make an impact.

Before we close another inspiring week, our turns to someone whose story reminds us that true leadership doesnât always need to be loud to be felt ð
Some stories arenât loudâbut theyâre powerful in the quiet strength they carry.
Thatâs the story of Pimpatt Pimsakul (Tao) ð§Ą
Her journey with BFITS Thailand began in 2012 when she stepped into the halls of Saint Joseph Convent School as our SJC BFITS Program coordinator.
In 2014, she moved into the role of Assistant Operations Managerâlearning, growing, adapting.
And in 2022, she rose once againâthis time as Operations Manager.
Each step? Earned. Each challenge? Faced with quiet determination.
Tao isnât someone who seeks the spotlight. Sheâs the one making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenesâconnecting with schools, coordinating countless moving parts, and always showing up for the team.
Her leadership style?
Grounded. Humble. Real.
She says it best: âI know Iâm not the best, but Iâm trying my best.â
And sometimes, thatâs what true leadership looks like.
Not perfectionâbut commitment. Not always having the answersâbut always showing up with heart.
Taoâs story is one of steady growth, grounded values, and the kind of resilience that builds trust over time.
For over a decade, sheâs helped shape the BFITS communityânot with grand gestures, but with consistency, care, and quiet impact.
Hereâs to Taoâproof that you donât have to be the loudest in the room to be one of its strongest foundations ðđð

Some journeys are measured not just in yearsâbut in resilience, growth, and heart.
Thatâs Siraporn âGloyâ Jungjan ð
In 2014, she began her BFITS Thailand story at āđāļĢāļāđāļĢāļĩāļĒāļāļŠāļāļĢāļĩāļŠāļĄāļļāļāļĢāļāļĢāļēāļāļēāļĢ: Streesmutprakan School.
By 2016, she had stepped into the role of Assistant Operations Manager.
And just three years later, in 2019, she became our BFITS Operations Managerâleading with strength, patience, and a deep sense of responsibility.
But her journey isnât just about titles. Itâs about mindset.
Gloy believes that:
âBehind every success is hard work, and every mistake is a step forward. Feeling tired only proves that youâre still fighting and never giving up.â
And through every challenge, sheâs lived those wordsâbalancing long days, tough decisions, and the countless moving pieces that keep BFITS running smoothly.
Now, as she reflects on a decade of service, her words say it best:
âThe 10 years Iâve worked with BFITS have felt like a workplace, a home, a family, and my safe zone â and it will always be that way for a long time to come.â
Her story is a reminder to us all:
Success doesnât come from shortcuts. It comes from hard work, from learning through mistakes, and from finding meaning in the fightâeven on the days youâre tired.
Hereâs to Gloy ð§Ą
A leader who proves that dedication builds more than careersâit builds community, family, and a lasting impact.
