Chulalongkorn University was the first institution in Thailand to institute, in 1943, an undergraduate degree programme in Industrial Design, in which graphic communication design and new media design was integrated. Since then the department has been continually developed to suit the shifting needs of the Thai industry. Chulalongkorn University’s Department of Industrial Design has been regarded

as one of the leading design educations in Thailand, notable for methodical design process and nurturing creativity in the country’s future designers. Our students have won many national and international design awards; and our graduates are now successfully working as design practitioners, or in related fields, both in Thailand and internationally. In 2010 the department’s undergraduate programme in industrial design (the Thai programme) was radically overhauled. The former five-year programme is now replaced by the newly developed four-year bachelor programme in industrial design. This will enable industrial design students to be more specialised in their chosen fields, and will broaden the department’s creative horizon through students’ self-driven inter-disciplinary projects. This will be supported by the department’s faculties with their various expertise within design fields, including product design, textile design, ceramic design, interior design, jewelry design, packaging design, and graphic communication design. Both ID (Thai programme) and CommDe (international programme) students study side by side within the same premises of the department and share many facilities, such as libraries, studios, workshops, auditoriums, exhibition spaces, etc. This certainly provides you with a richly dynamic environment in which you can exchange and learn from each other.

Several CommDe students have made it through to the Finalist round of Degree Shows 2025. After a tough Shortlist Online Presentation, our students are heading into the final round to present their work to the judges and the public. So proud of them.

The event will feature an exhibition of all Finalist works, plus an exclusive Fashion Show from the Fashion Design and Jewelry Design participants. The Best of Category and Best of The Shows winners will also be announced live at the event.

DEGREE SHOWS 2025: ประกาศผลการคัดเลือกรอบ Finalist!!!
หลังจากการ Online Presentation ในรอบ Shortlist และผ่านกระบวนการพิจารณาอย่างเข้มข้นจากคณะกรรมการผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ จนได้ 5 ผลงานที่โดดเด่นที่สุดในแต่ละสาขา เพื่อเข้าสู่รอบ Finalist และนำเสนอผลงานเป็นรอบสุดท้ายที่งาน Degree Shows 2025
กิจกรรม Degree Shows 2025 จะจัดขึ้นในวันอาทิตย์ที่ 10 พฤษภาคม 2569 เวลา 13:00 - 17:30 น. ณ Cloud 11 (BTS ปุณณวิถี ทางออก 6) ซึ่งจะเป็นเวทีนำเสนอผลงานต่อคณะกรรมการและสาธารณชน พร้อมการประกาศรางวัลสุดยอดวิทยานิพนธ์ในแต่ละสาขา
นอกจากนี้ภายในงานจะมีการจัดนิทรรศการโชว์ผลงานของผู้ที่ผ่านเข้าสู่รอบ Finalist พร้อมกิจกรรมพิเศษ กับ Fashion Show จากผู้ร่วมแสดงผลงานในสาขา Fashion Design และ Jewelry Design ขอเชิญชวนน้องๆ นักศึกษา นักออกแบบ หรือผู้ที่สนใจ สามารถเข้าชมนิทรรศการและร่วมให้กำลังใจผู้ที่ผ่านเข้ารอบได้ในงาน Degree Shows 2025
สามารถดูรายชื่อผู้ผ่านเข้ารอบทั้งหมดในแต่ละสาขาได้ใน photo album
สำหรับผู้ที่ชนะรางวัล Best of Category จะได้รับเงินรางวัล 12,000 บาท จำนวน 7 รางวัล พร้อมโล่รางวัลและเกียรติบัตร และเงินรางวัลพิเศษสำหรับผู้ที่ชนะรางวัล Best of The Shows จากทุกสาขา อีก 10,000 บาท จำนวน 1 รางวัล พร้อมโล่รางวัลและเกียรติบัตร
