🌍 MPH Connect: Orientation 2026 🎉

A warm welcome to our new Master of Public Health (International Program) students!

From 23–25 July 2026, our new cohort embarked on an exciting journey through MPH Connect: Orientation 2026, three memorable days of learning, connecting, and building a strong public health community.

Day 1 | Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University and Salaya Campus
Students were introduced to the MPH program, met our faculty and staff, explored the Salaya campus through a university tour, and connected with senior students and alumni who shared their experiences and research journeys.

Days 2–3 | Hua Hin
Beyond the classroom, students participated in leadership development, team-building, and cross-cultural activities, fostering collaboration, communication, and friendships among classmates from diverse backgrounds.

At MPH, we believe that meaningful learning begins with meaningful connections. Through MPH Connect, our students become part of a supportive international community that learns together, grows together, and leads together.

Here's to new friendships, inspiring experiences, and the beginning of an impactful public health journey!

The firstt day was filled with new experiences from getting to know the Faculty of Public Health and its departments to exploring the library and taking a tour around our beautiful campus. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, learn and begin this exciting journey together.

This prestigious recognition reflects Prof. Ishimaru’s outstanding professional achievements, dedication to advancing public health, and meaningful contributions to society at both national and international levels. His success continues to inspire our current students, alumni, and the next generation of global public health leaders.

Today, 11 May 2026, our MPH Program had the pleasure of organizing a Dining Etiquette and Table Manners Session over a full-course meal at ibis Bangkok Silom.

Professional development goes beyond the classroom, and we believe that confidence in social and formal settings is also an important skill for future public health professionals. This special gathering was not only educational but also served as a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the completion of our MPH students’ coursework journey.

The session created a warm atmosphere for students and faculty to share meaningful conversations, laughter, and memorable experiences together. It was a fitting occasion to mark the end of an important academic milestone and look ahead to the next chapter.

As part of the MPH Mahidol International Program, the PHSE 564: Introduction to GIS (Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing) course organized an academic field visit to Space Inspirium 🚀 on 5th May, 2026.

This modern science museum provided an engaging platform for students to explore space technology, satellite systems, and the science of the universe, key concepts that closely relate to GIS and remote sensing applications in public health and environmental studies.

The visit aimed to enhance experiential learning by bridging theoretical knowledge with real-world technologies, particularly in areas such as Earth observation and spatial data analysis. Through interactive exhibits and hands-on exploration, students were able to deepen their understanding of how space-based technologies contribute to global health, environmental monitoring, and sustainable development 🌍

The program remains committed to providing meaningful learning experiences beyond the classroom, fostering both academic growth and interdisciplinary insight. ✨

A wonderful and inspiring field visit to the Thai Health Promotion Foundation on 27 April, 2026.

Bridging the gap between theory and practice! Our MPH students in PHID 725 (Designing Intervention and Innovation to Promote Health and Prevent Disease) and PHID 727 (Health Communications Media and Content in Digital Media) had a real-life experience of health promotion when they visited the Thai Health Promotion Foundation.

This visit highlighted impactful work in health promotion, innovative strategies, and community-based interventions that are shaping a healthier future. It was a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge, explore best practices, and strengthen collaboration in advancing public health.
