If you only do one yoga pose this weekend, make it cat/cow (which is technically two)!

Why practice?

🐴 Mobilizes your spine & eases lower back stiffness.

🐴 it includes a backbend. Backbends are energizing & create energetic balance.

🐴 Improves your range of motion in your hips as you move your pelvis through anterior & posterior tilts.

🐴It integrates upper & lower body. Essential for riders.

✨As an Equestrian you need a balance of strength & flexibility for proper alignment & connection. Regular group & 1:1 yoga therapy classes bring you into balance (body/mind) for optimal riding.

⭐️Exercises like this help you build strength & body awareness in the moment & support your longevity.
That way you’re still riding when you “Ride off into the Sunset” & support your horse as you age.

Share this post with your students & save to practice on your own.
DM with questions & what you’re feeling!

⚕️As always, check with your Dr. before practicing yoga.
⚕️If a pose or practice doesn’t feel good, don’t keep doing it.

As a horse trainer & yoga therapist I offer support for riders & horsewomen who are ready to heal, up level, & bolster their longevity…so they can ride off into the sunset instead of giving up horses before their time.

* Yoga THERAPY helps riders ride longer & healthier. It combats cellular aging, reduces chronic inflammation, & mitigating stress & so much more.
* Super importantly yoga therapy helps you to FEEL better as you age. So you can keep doing all you do & enjoying it.
* When we feel better we RIDE BETTER, THINK CLEARLY, & ACT IN ALIGNMENT w/our values.

Back pain?
Tight hips?
Old lady posture?

The stall cleaning, the standing for long periods, the physical stress of horse care and riding. No wonder your back is tight, over worked, & tired.

Genetics, extended sitting, injury all contribute to how tight your hips are.

As we age, gravity, chronic stress, & lifestyle demands weigh on us.

It’s 2026, It doesn’t have to be that way! I teach riders the skills to recover faster, ride longer, & with more composure.

If you’re ready to feel better & get some much needed recovery & rest time? Then follow me for tips & tricks.

Ready to level up? Shoot me a DM & I’ll make signing up for class w/me easy.

Everything is Energy
Energy is Everything

& when you know how to work w/ energy, your life changes. This isn’t woo woo, is science.
Your horse changes.
Your world changes.

Horsemanship, riding, horse care, it’s all an exchange of energy.

Our relationships, our vitality, our ability to get through the day. Energy is responsible.

Breathing practices, mindfulness, philosophy, movement, are some of the ways i work with energy is classes.

🐴When you know how to work with energy you can leverage your presence, how you show up, get work done, care for yourself, & make connections.

❓How does your energy effect your horse?

If you only do one yoga pose this weekend, make it this luxurious Seated Restorative Twist!

Why practice?

🐴Opens the back of your hips.

🐴Sets you up for deep rest. Rest is different than sleep, you need rest everyday too.

🐴 Rotates the spine. Much needed after driving or sitting at your desk.

🐴It integrates upper & lower body. Essential for riders.

✨As an Equestrian you need a balance of strength & flexibility for proper alignment & connection. Equestrians tend to over use their back & shoulders in & out of the saddle (ex lifting hay bales/mucking stalls/sweeping/lifting saddles) & under use legs & core. This pose gives those over worked areas a break.

⭐️Exercises like this help you build strength & body awareness in the moment & support your longevity.
That way you can ride well & support your horse as you age.
