Jewellery-Making for Beginners

A beginners course, structured to introduce participants to use of tools, workshop discipline,materials and the techniques of making simple jewellery. Simple and practical techniques in jewellery such as sawing, piercing, filling, soldering, basic stone setting, texturing,coloring and finishes will be taught,

The course also covers the use of tools and equipment, safety and precautions. Students will make pieces of their own design in silver including : pendants, earrings, rings etc. Level 1 15,000 baht/12 hrs/person

Intermediate Jewellery

If you have already covered the basic technical exercises in learning how to make jewellery this course will guide you into practical workshop experience in a confident way. Students will need to have design ideas for jewellery as these will be used to explore and expand in the workshops with practical, design and some special technique guidancesuch as inlay metal,Mokume' Gane', intermediate stone setting, Cuttlefish casting etc. Level 1 16,000 baht/12 hrs/person

Advanced Jewellery

If you have attended a beginners or intermediate course in jewellery, or are studying at college or a professional, then these advanced course can further your skill. การทำเครื่องประดับ ขั้นพื้นฐาน

อธิบายทำความเข้าใจกับภาพรวมหรือรูปแบบของ ศิลปะเครื่องประดับ หรือ เครื่องประดับที่สามารถทำเองได้ในสตูดิโอหรือที่บ้าน

ผู้เรียนจะได้เรียนรู้จักเกี่ยวกับ เครื่องมือ และ ประเภทและคุณสมบัติของวัสดุ ต่างๆที่เกี่ยวกับการทำเครื่องประดับแฮนด์เมด และ หลักและข้อควรระวัง
ในการใช้ เครื่องมือ , หลักการเซ็ทอัพเวิร์คชอบ ,ความปลอดภัย ในสตูดิโอ รวมถึงเทคนิค ขั้นพื้นฐานในการทำ เช่น

ขั้นที่ 1 เลื่อย ,เจาะ ,เลื่อยฉลุ ,การใช้ตะไบ ,ทำงานเกี่ยวกับเส้นลวด ,ใช้คีม , การใช้ไฟกับโลหะ ,การเชื่อม , การทำผิวสัมผัสต่างๆบนผิวโลหะ,ลงยาเย็น, การขัดจบชิ้นงาน

ขั้นที่ 2 การขึ้นรูปชิ้นงานโลหะเป็น 3 มิติ ด้วยการใช้ ฆ้อน , การบาก และ การพับโลหะ เป็นรูปทรงต่างๆ เช่น กล่อง , กาทำแหวน กลวง (Hollow form)
การประกอบชิ้นงานโดยไม่ใช้ความร้อน , เรียนรู้การทำ ส่วนประกอบต่างๆ ในเครื่องประดับเช่น ข้อต่อ ตะขอ เข็มกลัด แป้นต่างหู เป็นต้น
การทำสีกับเครื่องประดับ ได้แก่ เช่น ลงยาร้อน

หมายเหตุ ทั้งนี้ในแต่ละขั้นและเทคนิคที่เรียน ผู้เรียนสามารถ ทำเครื่องประดับ ขั้นพื้นฐาน เป็นชิ้นงานสำเร็จได้ เช่น แหวน ต่างหู จี้ กำไล สร้อยคอ สร้องข้อมือ.
วัสดุโลหะที่ใช้ในการสอนเป็นหลักฟรี คือ ทองเหลือง หรือ ทองเหลือง ทั้งนี้ผู้เรียนสามารถใช้ วัสดุเงิน ในการทำชิ้นงาน สำเร็จได้ โดยผู้เรียนเป็นผู้ออกค่าใช้จ่ายเอง







การทำเครื่องประดับ ขั้นกลาง

สำหรับ ผู้เรียนที่ผ่านการเรียนทำเครื่องประดับขั้นพื้นฐาน ผู้เรียนจะได้เรียนเทคนิค และ มีส่วนร่วมในการออกแบบชิ้นงานตัวเอง ในขั้นสูงที่สูงขึ้น และ มีความซับซ้อนมากขึ้น
ผู้เรียนจะมีความมั่นใจทำการสร้างชิ้นงานที่มีความปราณีต และ ละเอียดมากขึ้นด้วย


ขั้นที่ 1 เทคนิคการทำเม็ด จากเส้นลวด (Granulation)
การหล่อชิ้นงานจากกระดองปลาหมึก
การชุบทอง การรมดำ และ ทำสีโลหะจากสารเคมีต่างๆ (Patination)
เทคนิค Fusing เงิน และ ทำผิว Reticulation
เทคนิคการฝังพลอย ระดับกลาง

ขั้นที่ 2 เทคนิคการทำ อินเลย์(Inlay) โลหะ และ เทคนิค โมกุเมะ กาเน (Mogume' gane')

หมายเหตุ ผู้เรียนสามารถทำชิ้นงาน เครื่องประดับ สำเร็จ หลังจากได้ทดลองเรียนรู้เทคนิดดังกล่าวข้างต้น อย่างน้อย ขั้นละ 2-3 ชิ้น






การทำเครื่องประดับ ชั้นสูง
สำหรับผู้ที่ผ่านเทคนิคการทำเครื่องประดับขั้นกลาง แล้วมีความชำนาญ เทคนิคการทำเครื่องประดับด้วยตัวเองได้แล้ว คอร์ส ชั้นสูง จะช่วยให้นักเรียน มีความมั่นใจในการคิดหาแรงบัลดาลใจ แนวความคิด นำมาใช้กับ เทคนิคขั้นสูงต่างๆ ได้อย่างลงตัว อีกทั้งยังได้สามารถใช้ทดลองวัสดุต่างๆ ตามแต่ที่นักเรียนสนใจ ทดลอง ทำให้เกินความสวยงามของศิลปะแบบร่วมสมัยได้
