This is ‘Somebana’, a Japanese handcrafted silk flower I just finished, which will later be combined with embroidery.
For this sketch, I used affordable silk before making the real piece, as real silk is very expensive.

Creating sketch pieces first allows me to experiment with painting colors, avoid mistakes, and prevent wasting valuable material. After this, it will be incorporated into embroidery work… stay tuned to see what it becomes.
