You can find an panel in Singapore any night of the week.

So when we were invited us to co-host one, we knew we needed to go beyond the hype and build the evening around community.

Last night, ThinkX Global, together with Social Impact Catalyst co-organised the SIC Community Day at Staytion Lifestyle Dhoby Ghaut. The opening panel was "Beyond the Hype: Leveraging AI to Drive Growth in and " with Masni Goh, Katherine Ang and Kailin Toh, moderated by Saiful Anuar.

Three key sharings from the panel:

Masni described a client who started questioning their own identity after working with AI.

Katherine talked about moving from audit into digital transformation and how AI complemented work she was already doing.

Kailin described experimenting his way into AI solutions, using his engineering background as the ground to test from.

Then the panel ended and the room rearranged itself.

We ran the second half as a Human Library. Masni, Katherine and Kailin each hosted a table. Kent, Monica and Akdora pitched their own. People moved between tables based on what they wanted to talk about, not just where they originally sat.

We’re so grateful to our panellists for their refreshing honesty, to our table hosts for sparking such meaningful dialogue and all 55 participants for participating the conversations towards building a community. Thank you to Saiful for navigating the conversations so beautifully and to our incredible partners, Staytion and ACCA Singapore for making the evening possible.

Something is brewing at Staytion and this community day was just a taste of it. Watch this space.
