Kwam Poom Jai: The Spirit of ISB ✨

As another remarkable year comes to a close, our community gathered to celebrate what makes ISB so special: the people.

Through music, dancing, laughter, and heartfelt moments, we reflected on the memories we have created together and the connections that have shaped our journey. We honored departing teachers, retiring faculty and staff, and raised a toast to the impact they have made on our school and on all of us.

Among the celebrations were countless expressions of gratitude, with messages of thanks, encouragement, and appreciation shared for those beginning new chapters.

It was a beautiful reminder that the Spirit of ISB lives not only in our achievements, but in the relationships, kindness, and sense of belonging that unite our community. 💛

For more than a decade, the 𝗪𝗮𝗶 𝗣𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗲 Ceremony has been one of the most meaningful traditions in our graduating students’ journey.

As they prepare to embark on new adventures beyond school, students gathered to honor the people who have been their constant source of love, strength, and encouragement. Through the traditional Thai wai and the presentation of flower garlands, they expressed their deepest gratitude to their parents for the sacrifices made, the lessons shared, and the unwavering support that helped them reach this important milestone.

The ceremony was filled with heartfelt moments as students knelt before their parents, offering a gesture of respect and appreciation that transcends words. Smiles, tears, and warm embraces reflected years of dedication, perseverance, and dreams realized together.

More than a celebration of achievement, the 𝗪𝗮𝗶 𝗣𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗲 Ceremony is a reminder that every graduate’s success is built upon the love, guidance, and belief of those who have supported them from the very beginning.

A beautiful tradition. A powerful expression of gratitude. A memory to be cherished for a lifetime.

ODOS scholarship celebrates the elite 'hidden Einsteins' of Thailand Youth. ISB hosted five of these scholarship awardees, giving them a week of learning focused on intercultural understanding, personal empowerment, and developing an emotional skills 'toolkit'. The ODOS students were so proud to be ISB Panthers! They took on a 'no Thai food' challenge for the week, made friends with our High School volunteers, and practiced presenting to peers and adults.

The entire week's schedule was curated, organised, and sometimes led, by 𝗯𝘆 𝗜𝗦𝗕'𝘀 𝗞𝗥𝗨 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗥𝗨 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 - 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲, 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁, 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 - works to bridge educational inequalities in Thailand, working with teachers and students to share learning and exchange experiences.

Everyone involved in the ODOS project really showed our visiting students the true ISB community spirit.
