✨ Sharing Expertise in Esthetic Restorative Dentistry at CUIE

A big thank you to Dr. Narong Potiket, our valued part-time faculty member, for joining our CUIE students for a special session on Esthetic Restorations.

Beyond the lecture, Dr. Narong brought his clinical experience directly into the hands-on session, sharing practical techniques and clinical tips for veneer preparation — from preparation concepts to the fine details that can make a real difference in achieving predictable esthetic outcomes. 🦷✨

It was a great opportunity for our students to learn not only the principles, but also the practical nuances behind successful veneer treatment.

Bootcamp Day 4 brought our intensive week to a picture-perfect finish! ✨🦷

Our final day focused on esthetic analysis for optimal dental treatment, beginning with direct restorations in the esthetic zone and smile design led by Asst. Prof. Dusit Nanthanapiboon Dusit Nantanapiboon and Dr. Pasiree Thongthai.

The program continued with Dr. Alisa Tapananon Alisa Tapananon, who explored indirect restoration design and tooth preparation for minimally invasive treatment, highlighting how thoughtful preparation can help achieve both biological preservation and beautiful esthetic outcomes.

In the afternoon, Dr. Ketkarn Sakultap Ketkarn Sakultap brought everything into focus through a insightful lecture and hands-on dental photography workshop along with the team of Dr. Rachapat and Dr. Disapong , helping our residents capture clinical work with greater accuracy, consistency, and impact. 📸

We closed the Bootcamp with our certificate ceremony and dinner party—a well-deserved celebration after four intensive days of lectures, workshops, new technologies, and shared experiences.

Congratulations to all our residents for completing CUIE’s Bootcamp Season 2. The Bootcamp may be over, but your two-year journey has only just begun! 🎓🥂

Bootcamp Day 3 was all about bringing implant treatment to life! 🦷✨

After building a strong surgical and digital foundation, our residents shifted their focus to implant prosthodontics—exploring prosthetic implant design, abutment selection, impression techniques, and the principles of temporization. By Dr. Jaijam Namhom Jj Suwanwela , Dr. Somphote Somphote Ong Angkanawiriyarakand Dr. Sunporn Namano

In the afternoon, theory moved straight into practice with a hands-on workshop on implant crown temporization, where participants worked through the clinical steps needed to create a functional and esthetic provisional restoration.

From implant placement to the final restorative vision, every decision matters—and Day 3 connected all the pieces together. One more day to go! 🎯

With the digital paradigm in Implant Dentistry explored by our speakersDr. Nikos Mattheos Dr.Atiphan Dr. Atiphan Pimkhaokham, Dr. Sirikarn Sirikarn Phothikhun , our participants gained valuable insights into the rapidly evolving world of digital implant workflows.

The perfect follow-up? Getting hands-on experience X-guide dynamic navigation systems and putting those concepts into practice right away!

From theory to technology to real-time application, Day 2 was all about expanding horizons and sharpening skills.

🦷 Day 1 of the CUIE Bootcamp Season 2 is officially underway!

Our residents started the day in the seminar room, building a strong foundation through lectures on the basic principles of implant dentistry, surgical planning, implant placement protocols, and suturing techniques.

Then it was time to move from theory to action! 💪

In the hands-on workshop, everyone headed to the Sim Lab to place their first implants on plastic patients, practice the surgical sequence, develop proper hand positioning, and refine their suturing skills. 🔩🧵 by Dr. Nikos Mattheos Dr.Kajorn Kajorn Kungsadalpipob and Dr. Sirikarn Sirikarn Phothikhun

There was plenty of concentration, teamwork, careful drilling, and, of course, a few slightly nervous smiles before the first implant went in!

By the end of the day, our residents had taken their first important step from understanding implant surgery in the classroom to performing the procedures with their own hands.

The fundamentals are now in place, the sutures are tied, and the first implants have officially been placed! ✅

A fantastic start to four exciting days of learning, practicing, and exploring the world of implant and esthetic dentistry.

And this is only Day 1… more exciting workshops, technologies, and challenges are coming next! 🚀

🚀 The Journey Begins! | CUIE 2026

Every great clinician starts with a strong foundation—and today, we welcomed our new first-year residents to the CUIE Family.

Orientation Day marks the official start of our 4-day Bootcamp, the first milestone in a challenging and rewarding 2-year journey in Implant & Esthetic Dentistry.

Throughout the day, our residents had the opportunity to:
✨ Get to know one another through interactive ice-breaking activities
🏥 Explore our brand-new clinical facilities during a comprehensive clinic tour
📋 Learn the essential clinical workflows, guidelines, and expectations of the program
🎓 Hear invaluable insights and practical advice from our second-year residents, who shared their experiences and lessons learned from the past year.

But learning doesn’t stop in the classroom.

The day concluded with a special evening team-building event at Zero Latency VR, where residents competed in an immersive virtual reality challenge. Beyond the excitement and friendly competition, the experience encouraged communication, trust, teamwork, and even offered a fun introduction to 3D spatial awareness and navigation—skills that are surprisingly relevant to modern implant dentistry.

This is only the beginning.

Over the next four days, our residents will be immersed in intensive learning, hands-on training, and collaborative experiences designed to prepare them for the exciting two years ahead.
