A Beautiful Afternoon of Music 🎶✨

What a wonderful afternoon it was at Music From Our Living Room! A heartfelt thank you to the Srikaranonda–Balakauskas family — Dr. Indhuon Srikaranonda, Artas Balakauskas, Asta Balakauskas and Indre Balakauskas — for sharing their incredible artistry and the special experience of making music together. From Schubert and Brahms to Gershwin and Piazzolla, it was truly a memorable afternoon.

Our sincere thanks to everyone who helped make the concert possible, especially the dedicated Royal Bangkok Symphony Music School staff and production team, as well as 140 Wireless for hosting us and providing such a wonderful setting for this special performance.

🎶 Sounds of Wireless presents Music from Our Living Room

The Royal Bangkok Symphony Music School warmly invites you to an intimate afternoon of music with the Srikaranonda–Balakauskas family. 🏡🎵🎹🎻🎤

🎹 At the heart of the programme are acclaimed pianists Dr. Indhuon Srikaranonda and Artas Balakauskas, who have performed together as a piano duo for nearly two decades while nurturing generations of young musicians.

🎵They are joined by their daughter Asta Balakauskas, a theatre artist and jazz vocalist whose performances have taken her from Thailand and Lithuania to New Orleans, and Indre Balakauskas, a young cellist who has enjoyably played with the Thai Youth Orchestra and the Thailand Philharmonic.

Presented as part of the Sounds on Wireless series, the programme brings together treasured works by Schubert, Brahms, F***y Mendelssohn-Hensel, George Gershwin, and Astor Piazzolla, celebrating the joy of making music together as a family. 💙

Love & Despair: An Afternoon of Romantic Masterpieces

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Love & Despair, another memorable edition of Sounds on Wireless by the Royal Bangkok Symphony Music School.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to Kasina Ansavananda (violin), Tanika Prasood (viola), Kesara Bunayamongkol (cello), and Chakrit Khanonvej (piano) for their captivating performances of Schumann's Piano Quartet in E-flat Major, Op. 47 and Brahms' Piano Quartet in G Minor, Op. 25. We are also deeply grateful to our audience for sharing this intimate afternoon of chamber music with us.
