Hello everyone ! today I will teach you the word หิวแสง (hǐw sɛ̌ɛng).

คนต่างชาติที่อ่านภาษาไทยได้อาจจะเห็นคำว่า หิวแสง ในสื่อสังคมออนไลน์จากคนไทยหรืออาจจะได้ยินคำนี้จากคนไทยในตอนนี้

Foreigners who can read Thai may see the word หิวแสง (hǐw sɛ̌ɛng) on social media from Thai people or may hear this word from Thai people now.

หิวแสง เป็นคำใหม่ที่คนไทยหลายๆ คนใช้ในปัจจุบัน ถ้าแปลตรงๆ ก็คือ หิว แสง (อยากกินแสง)

หิวแสง (hǐw sɛ̌ɛng) is a new word that is used by many Thai people at present. If we translate it word by word, it means hungry light.
(หิว hǐw = adj. hungry แสง sɛ̌ɛng = n. light)

แต่จริงๆ หิวแสง แปลว่า การกระทำจากคนที่อยากได้รับความสนใจหรือทำตัวเป็นคนเรียกร้องความสนใจ หิวแสงเป็นคำแสลง

Actually, หิวแสง adj. (hǐw sɛ̌ɛng) means an action from a person who wants to get attention or act like an attention seeker. หิวแสง (hǐw sɛ̌ɛng) is slang.
