Something bright is happening inside the BFITS community 🇹🇭 The BFITS Thai Language Program is officially back with Batch 2, and this time, we’re taking it to the next level.

This program gives BFITS teachers a chance to learn practical Thai for everyday life, school communication, and real situations in Thailand, from simple greetings to meaningful confidence-building conversations.

Led by Khru Nut, our Batch 2 teachers will go through weekly lessons, conversation practice, worksheets, practical video challenges, and a special Immersion Day experience 🧡 Because teaching in Thailand becomes even more meaningful when we also learn how to connect with the language, culture, and people around us.

Welcome to our Batch 2, Bright Educators 🌟

A Thai voice is ready to take the lead 🇹🇭 As schools begin opening their doors again, BFITS continues to support our teachers through Welcome Orientation, Training, and Professional Development 🌟

But this year, we’re taking one more step.

Beyond preparing teachers for the classroom, we’re creating new ways to help them feel more connected to Thailand, its language, and the everyday moments that shape the BFITS experience 🧡

In 5 days, something special officially begins.

We won’t say too much yet, but this next reveal might already be speaking for itself 👀

Some work is seen right away. Some work happens quietly, in the background, long before anyone notices the result 🧡

For every lesson prepared, every message answered, every classroom supported, every schedule managed, and every small detail handled with care, thank you 🙏 Labour Day gives us a moment to recognize the effort, patience, and commitment that keep our schools, teams, and communities moving.

To our BFITS teachers, coordinators, assistants, staff, and everyone working hard across Thailand, we appreciate the time, energy, and heart you bring into each day. May this day give you space to rest, breathe, and feel proud of the work you do 🌟

The final day of BFITS Training brought everything into focus for our bright new teachers 🌟 After a full week of orientation, school context, academic preparation, classroom management, lesson planning, and meaningful discussions, today gave them the chance to step forward and turn preparation into practice through their practicum demonstrations.

From group reflections and lesson planning to creative classroom activities and teaching demos, the room was filled with confidence beginning to rise 🚀 These were not just presentations. They were first glimpses of the teachers they are becoming, with their own voice, presence, ideas, and growing understanding of what it means to lead a classroom.

As this training week comes to a close, we celebrate the effort, growth, and commitment shown by this batch of teachers under the guidance of Heather Roy 🧡 Their BFITS Training may have reached its final day, but this is only the beginning of what they will carry into their schools, classrooms, and the academic year ahead.

As our BFITS PD series comes to a meaningful close, another important part of our teacher preparation continues 🌟 While our returning teachers wrapped up a strong week of learning with the Academic team, our BFITS Training with Heather Roy carried forward with Day 4 for our bright new teachers.

Today focused on the practical realities that shape the classroom, including grade categories, Google Classroom grading, classroom rules, reward systems, behavior management, and the small choices that help create a stronger learning environment 🚀 Through interactive activities and intro presentations, our teachers continued finding their own presence, voice, and teaching style.

Tomorrow is practicum day, where they will have the chance to bring everything they have been building throughout the week into practice 🧡

The training room had a more classroom-focused energy today as our bright new teachers stepped into Day 3 of BFITS Training 🌟 After building their foundation through orientation, BFITS basics, and Thai school context, today shifted into lessons, preparation, content, activities, and the practical thinking that helps teachers feel more ready before they officially step into their classrooms.

One of the highlights of the day was having Teacher Will from our SJC BFITS Program join the session to share real classroom experience and subject-based insight with the group 🚀 Together with Heather Roy’s training sessions, the day brought together masterclass exploration, lesson planning, interactive activities, and meaningful examples that helped turn preparation into something more practical, confident, and connected to the classroom.

At BFITS, we’ve always believed that strong classrooms begin with supported educators 🌟

As we welcome a new batch of teachers into our BFITS training this week with Heather Roy, our Professional Development series continues alongside, just as it does each year, creating space for both new and current educators to learn, share, and grow together 🚀

Led by our Academic Manager, Matt Krupa, and joined by our BFITS educators, Claire and Joshua (English), Mandy (Math), and Alan (Science), this session focuses on best practices shaped by real classroom experience, alongside insights from our valued partners, McGraw Hill and Macmillan Education.

Because when teachers grow, classrooms grow, and so do our students 🧡

There was a stronger sense of direction in the room as our bright new teachers continued their BFITS Training 🌟 Today moved beyond the first welcome and into the bigger picture of teaching in Thailand, from understanding teacher-student relationships and Thai school life to learning more about the structure, expectations, and support systems that shape the BFITS experience.

The day was made even more meaningful with K’ Goh, our BFITS Director, introducing more about BFITS and our management team, Matt Krupa, our Academic Manager, sharing academic guidance, and Rachel Alderson, one of our BFITS Program Managers, walking teachers through the Thai school year and important school timelines 🚀

With Heather Roy, our Training Manager, continuing to lead the training, Day 2 helped our new teachers connect the details, understand the environment, and move forward with greater confidence.
