Much and Many ကို English grammar မှာဆိုရင်တော့ quantifiers လို့ခေါ်ပါတယ်။ အရေအတွက်၊ပမာဏတွေကိုဖော်ပြချင်တဲ့အခါသုံးပါတယ်။

Many က countable nouns (ရေတွက်၍ရသောNouns )တွေအတွက်အသုံးပြုပါတယ်။
- Example: "I have many books."
- Example: "There are many students in the class."

Much ကတော့uncountable nouns(ရေတွက်၍မရသောNouns)တွေအတွက်အသုံးပြုပါတယ်။
- Example: "I don’t have much time."
- Example: "There isn’t much water in the glass."

Noun နှစ်ခုထက်ပိုပြီးနှိုင်းယှဉ်တဲ့အခါ Superlative ကိုသုံးပေးရပါတယ်။ Superlative degree မှာအရေးကြီးတာတစ်ခုက”the”ထည့်ပေးရပါမယ်။
🌟 How to form it?

1. Short adjectives (1 syllable adjectives တွေဆိုရင် -estပေါင်းပေးရပါတယ်)
•Tall → the tallest
•Short→the shortest
(2 syllables/ ending in-y——> remove -y and add -iest)
•Happy → the happiest

2. Long adjectives (2 or more syllables, not ending in -y ဆိုရင်တော့ adjective အရှေ့မှာ most or least ထည့်ပေးရပါတယ်
•Beautiful → the most beautiful
•Interesting →the least interesting

Adjectives လေးတွေမှာ

3.Superlative ဆိုပြီးdegree သုံးမျိုးရှိပါတယ်။

1.Positive degree

Positive degree လေးကတော့ရိုးရှင်းပါတယ်။ သူကsimple form of an adjective ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ Nounတစ်ခုရဲ့ quality ကိုဖော်ပြတဲ့အခါမှာဒီ positive degree ကိုအသုံးပြုပြီးဖော်ပြနိုင်ပါတယ်။

2. Comparative degree

Nounနှစ်ခုကိုနှိုင်းယှဉ်ပြီးပြောချင်တဲ့အခါ comparative degree ကိုအသုံးပြုနိုင်ပါတယ်။

🛠 How to Form It?

1️⃣Short adjectives ( 1 syllable adjectives) တွေမှာဆိုရင် adjective ကို erထည့်ပြီး နောက်ကthanလေးကပ်ပေးရုံပါဘဲ

Example:
-My house is smaller than yours.
-This car is faster than that one.

ဒါပေမဲ့Consonant +vowel+consonant(CVC) letters တွေနဲ့ဆုံးတဲ့adjectives တွေဆိုရင်နောက်ဆုံးကletterလေးကို2ခါပြန်ရေးပြီးမှerထည့်ရပါတယ်။

Big. ➡️Bigger
Thin➡️Thinner
Hot.➡️Hotter

2️⃣”y”နဲ့ဆုံးတဲ့adjectiveတွေဆိုရင်”y”ကိုဖြုတ်ပြီး”ier”ထည့်ပါတယ်။

Example:
-She is happier now than last year.
-Today feels busier than yesterday.

3️⃣For longer adjectives (2+ syllables)တွေဆိုရင်ရှေ့ကmoreလေးထည့်ပေးရပါတယ်။

Example:
-This movie is more interesting than the last one.
-He is more careful than his brother.

4️⃣Irregular adjectives တွေကတော့ ruleသီးသန့်မရှိတဲ့အတွက်ကိုယ်တိုင်မှတ်ထားမှရပါမယ်။

4️⃣ S – Shape (round, square, long)
5️⃣ C – Color (red, blue, green)
