ChatGPT for study offers both potential and challenges. A balanced approach is needed to optimize the benefits and minimize the disadvantages. Educators should provide students with the necessary resources and knowledge to use AI effectively. This can boost critical thinking, ethical awareness, and independent research abilities. Modern learners have grown in a digital age, and denying them access to AI technologies is unwise. Teachers should teach students responsible AI usage, filtering information, and enhancing learning and research abilities.

Students worldwide must understand the importance of environmental responsibility and sustainability, as demonstrated by the new rules requiring Everest climbers to bring their trash back to Base Camp to protect both the environment and public health. They learned about this environmental impact in the passage from Breaking News English, which specifically addressed the problem of human waste and litter left by climbers.
Furthermore, the passage integrated linguistic skills by helping students understand context clues and unlock meanings of difficult vocabulary, despite being somewhat advanced for M1/2 students. This aligns with Stephen Krashen's Input Hypothesis theory, which posits that exposure to slightly challenging material aids language acquisition.
Finally, the video shows students group oral reading activity, also known as choral reading, a method that enhances students' reading speed, comprehension, and language skills in a safe, friendly environment. This approach reduces individual pressure, encourages participation, builds community, and improves speech skills, catering to all learning styles. 🎉🎉🎉🥇

In this activity, students explore their dual identities by drawing their online and real-world selves. They showed their two sides: one depicting how they present themselves online, and another showing their offline persona. Students then present their drawings, reflecting on the differences and reasons behind their varying presentations. The class engages in a discussion about common themes and the impact of these dual identities. This activity aims to enhance self-awareness, communication skills, and empathy for others' experiences.
Critical thinking is a must-learn essential for students. Training students to think critically is crucial for their academic and professional success. It is not easy to achieve, but it can be developed through rigorous training and constant practice. Engaging in activities like roundtable discussions and independent research helps students enhance their critical thinking skills, promoting their ability to analyze, evaluate, and create well-informed arguments.
Class reports enhance English language learners' speaking, writing, and critical thinking skills through regular practice and public speaking. They promote a collaborative environment, encouraging conversation and peer learning, ultimately enhancing overall proficiency and confidence in English language learning.
Roundtable discussions are designed to develop independent speaking and learning strategies for senior students. This approach trains them to think critically and conduct research on topics they choose to discuss, promoting independence in their learning process. Engaging with sensible topics and cultivating independence are crucial yet challenging skills, particularly for young adults who need structured training to master them. Through these discussions, young adults enhance their critical thinking and become more self-reliant, preparing them for future academic and professional endeavors.
