Beyond the Classroom:

Our ECA Fair was a wonderful opportunity for students to explore the many ways they can learn and discover new interests beyond the classroom.

From STEM & Innovation activities such as ERC Robotics, Engineer PlayLab, Junior Inventor, LEGO Creative, Roblox Education, VR, and Stop Motion Animation, to creative and performing arts, sports, languages and more, there is something for every student to explore.

At BASIS International School Bangkok, our extracurricular programs encourage students to discover new passions, develop new skills, build friendships, and pursue their interests.

• 85% of exams scored 4 or higher
• 49% of exams scored 5

In 2026, BASIS Bangkok offers 22 AP courses, giving students extensive opportunities to challenge themselves with college-level coursework and prepare for success at leading universities around the world.

Academic Insights:

In Engineering class, our Middle School students had the opportunity to learn from Dean Hiranburana, a Grade 10 student from Mira Costa High School in California, who visited our classroom to share his journey in Robotics.

Dean spoke about his experiences in teamwork, perseverance, and problem-solving on his journey toward competing at the World Championship level. He also exchanged ideas with our teachers and students about the programming skills he has developed and how they connect to the concepts being taught in the classroom at our school.

Our students took part in Music Auditions and Sports Tryouts, exploring new opportunities to develop their talents and pursue their interests.

Alongside a rigorous academic experience, our students are encouraged to discover what inspires them, challenge themselves, and grow through every new experience.
