🌟 Win over $42,000 and prestigious royal trophy awards! 🌟
Established in 2002, the BBC is Asia’s longest-running global student startup competition, offers a competitive platform for undergraduate and postgraduate students to showcase their entrepreneurial skills, focusing on sustainability, innovation, and business viability.
Since expanding to Asian and global regions in 2008, the BBC has attracted top student entrepreneurs worldwide. Participants compete for the prestigious 🏆 H.M. Award, first bestowed by the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) and now granted by King Maha Vajiralongkorn (Rama X). In addition to this distinguished honor, teams have the opportunity to win over US$42,000 in cash prizes.
Sustainability is at the core of our competition. For the fifth year, we are honored to present 🏆 the H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s Sustainability Award to the team that embodies mindful operations that all ventures should strive towards.
🏆 Beyond the trophy and $42,000 prize pool: BBC2025 winners gain instant recognition, royal honors, and access to Asia's top investors. See how last year's winners turned their victory into global success!

It has been both an honor and great pleasure to collaborate with 13 experts in innovating the dialogue and engagement approach to Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in the "Mind Your Business Workshop: Finding Balance in an Ever-Turbulent World" at the Sustainability Expo 2024.
We would like to sincerely thank everyone for their time and contribution: 46 amazing participants divided into six groups, 3 inspirational speakers, 2 invigorating facilitators, 8 incredible group mentors, and the generous co-hosts at SX2024. Within 3 hours, we got six profound proposals for recalibrating "balance" in Thailand, summarized as follows. Who wants to advance Thailand together towards "Good Balance, Better World"? Keep in touch and let's collaborate further!
Group 1: Proposal for Labor and Wage Improvements:
- Government Sector: Restructure minimum wage rates, support the establishment of labor unions, and regularly inspect fair wage payment mechanisms.
- Private Sector: Develop diverse skills and emphasize training that aligns with labor market or private sector needs.
Group 2: Proposal for “Sustainable Lifestyle & Consumption” (Food, Energy, Leisure, Clothing):
- By having Self-Awareness of Needs/Wants), Knowledge (Products/Origins, Education for Children), and Tech-enhanced Means (Enabler in getting information, AI, Bartering System)
Group 3: Proposals for Instilling Knowledge and Morality:
- Lead by example, provide education, and allow hands-on experience.
Group 4: Proposals for Quality Education Development:
- Policies focusing on both teachers and students, promoting practical knowledge and holistic participation (society, community, practitioners). Offer diverse options, knowledge aligned with international standards and global changes, and realistic quality assessments to improve curricula and essential life skills.
Group 5: Proposal for Waste Management Policy Improvement:
- Producers: Reuse & Recycle and social responsibility.
- Consumers: Choose packaging and reuse (Short-term: Facility management and waste management policy promotion, Mid-term: Collaboration with government agencies, proposing partner standards like Net Zero, ISO, and certificates, Long-term: Convert waste into clean energy and invest in innovation)
- Education: Educate on, promote and drive waste separation within communities through continuous awareness campaigns.
Group 6: Proposals for Human Development Starting with Knowledgeable and Moral Leaders:
- Create role models who inspire, starting with families teaching discipline and building good relationships, alongside school curricula providing knowledge from a young age. Everyone in society should participate in sharing, teaching, and advising, creating spaces for experience exchange. This should be coupled with quality personnel who can reach students and bring out their potential, integrating moral and Buddhist knowledge through various activities, and investing further in the Ministry of Education to foster sustainable development education.
