🇬🇧 Learn Maths with a UK-Based Maths Teacher

Looking for a supportive and effective way to help your child improve their Maths skills, confidence, and exam performance?

Learn with a dedicated Maths teacher currently based in the UK, providing structured lessons, regular assessment, personalised support, and extensive practice to help every student make steady progress.

📌 What Students Will Receive

📊 Monthly Mock Tests
Regular mock tests to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and help students become more confident with exam-style questions.

🎯 Assessment for Learning (AfL)
Students’ understanding is continuously checked throughout the learning process. Lessons and activities are adjusted based on individual progress and learning needs.

🤝 EAL & SEN Support
Supportive and inclusive teaching approaches for students with English as an Additional Language (EAL) and Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping students learn at a pace and in a way that suits their needs.

🧠 Step-by-Step Scaffolding Approach
Complex Maths concepts are taught gradually — starting with visual models such as bar modelling, progressing to logical reasoning, and finally developing confidence in abstract mathematical concepts and problem-solving.

🌍 Extensive Practice & International Question Bank
Students will practise a wide variety of carefully selected example and problem-solving questions inspired by:
🇸🇬 Singapore Maths
🇺🇸 SAT Maths
🇬🇧 UK Curriculum
🌎 International Maths resources and exam-style questions

The goal is not only to help students get the correct answers, but also to develop strong mathematical thinking, logical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and confidence.

📚Give your child the opportunity to build strong Maths foundations and become a more independent and confident learner.

📩 Message the page today for more information about classes, available levels, and enrolment.

Differences between Edexcel Vs AQA

Difference between AQA, Edexcel, OCR questions

1. Structure and Presentation
AQA: Questions slowly build your confidence. They often use handy answer lines or multiple-choice boxes, which makes it easy to see where to show your work

Edexcel: Edexcel papers have a reputation for being mathematically demanding. They feature lengthy real-world problems (e.g., population growth or physics scenarios) and provide open space rather than structured lines

OCR: OCR papers differ in scoring. While AQA and Edexcel exams are worth 80 marks each, OCR papers are worth 100 marks. This means OCR can offer more method marks for smaller, correct steps.

2. Question Styles (Higher Tier focus)
Proof-based questions: OCR often requires the most precise mathematical language and notation on "show that" and proof questions. AQA occasionally gives a flawed proof and asks you to spot the mistake. Edexcel asks you to build a complete proof from scratch

Applied math & stats: AQA asks more non-mathematical statistics questions, such as evaluating sampling methods. Edexcel mechanics and statistics questions are highly predictable and formulaic.
