Congratulations to our RIS Religion students on receiving the Sacraments of First Holy Communion and Confirmation.
Held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church on the RIS campus, this meaningful Eucharistic Celebration brought together students, families, Redemptorist Fathers, Sisters, catechists, faculty, and members of the RIS community in a shared celebration of faith and spiritual growth. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Bishop Paul Trairong Multree for presiding over this special Mass and blessing our students on this important milestone in their faith journey.
As part of the RIS Religion program, students are encouraged not only to deepen their understanding of Christian teachings, but also to grow in compassion, respect, service, and moral character within a caring community grounded in Catholic values.
May the Holy Spirit continue to guide and inspire all of our students as they continue their journey of faith.

Today is RIS Ruamrudee Foundation Day—May 17. 🌠 Happy 69th Birthday, RIS!
The RIS community gathered on Friday for a special all-school Foundation Day assembly celebrating nearly seven decades of history, faith, learning, and community spirit. Founded in 1957 behind Holy Redeemer Church in Soi Ruamrudee, RIS has grown from four wooden classrooms into a multi-campus educational family that continues to shape generations of students both in Thailand and around the world.
This year’s celebration also reflected the truly multi-generational spirit of RIS, with alumni, alumni parents, faculty, staff, students, and school leaders coming together to honor the school’s journey “Ad Astra” — “to the stars.” As RIS approaches its milestone 70th anniversary next year, Foundation Day remains a meaningful reminder of the people, values, and traditions that continue to define the RIS community today.

At this year’s TEDxYouth event at RIS, students explored the theme “Poke the Bear” through bold, personal, and thought-provoking talks. From questioning expectations to redefining success, each speaker shared moments where courage, curiosity, and conviction led them to challenge the norm—and grow because of it.
👏 Congratulations to all our speakers—and massive kudos to the RIS TEDxYouth organizing committee for bringing it all to life! Special thanks once again to Mr. Trenton Mendelson for his continued support and guidance.
