Sunday Playdate with Sam was a fun filled event. During our Rainbow Connection session students explored the wonderful world of colors. Activities included playing with colorful blocks, rainbow rice, and cloud dough. Students created a color wheel of their own by mixing colors and were given free expression to mix and match colors when creating paper flowers. Students were given a wide variety of tools to experiment with--to include eyedroppers and paintbrushes

Another wonderful Playdate with Sam! Today we hunted for dinosaurs on the front lawn--used special spray to find dinosaurs hidden in goop, and created dinosaurs of our very own by using paper plates! We also read a dinosaur story, played with our found dinosaurs on the playground, and made houses for the toy dinosaurs with the blocks! What a great Sunday!

It was a quiet day for "A Playdate with Sam"... but it meant that I got to spend my entire morning with my beautiful boy Otto. We made paper airplanes, built castles, and talked about life in general. I can't imagine a better way to spend a Sunday morning or a better way to reaffirm my absolute love for teaching.
