1. How is the Chulalongkorn University SAT Summer Camp different from other test prep programs?

The most important aspect of this camp is quality assurance. Students will take classes at Chulalongkorn University with Ivy League graduates who have taught SAT at world renowned test preparatory academies like Kaplan and The Princeton Review. Students will also have college application strategy development sessions with expert guidance counselors who have placed hundreds of students to the Ivy Leagues and other top colleges and universities.

2. Why should I apply for this camp?

Higher SAT scores mean better college odds. As mentioned above, the students from the SAT Summer Camp 2013 averaged a 250 point increase in their scores, some even a 500 point increase. If your SAT scores significantly improve then this means that you will have an increased chance of admissions to your dream school. Furthermore, with the help of our guidance counselors, you will gain enough knowledge and proficiency about the college application process. Not only will your SAT scores go up, but also your chances of college admissions will go up.

Student Management:

SAT and College Application Workshop teachers will be assisted by Chulalongkorn University graduates during the camp. These teaching assistants will help students stay on top of their daily assignments and act as a communication mean for camp managers, teachers, students, and parents.

Parents will be notified every day about their child’s:

• Vocabulary Test Scores
• SAT Practice Test Results
• Class Attendance
• Academic Progress

We believe that strict management of the students is the first priority at the camp. Students will be monitored by our teaching assistants so that they put all their effort into studying for vocabulary and other daily assignments. Good management, we believe, will lead to significant improvements in test scores.

College Application Workshop Counselors:

Top Ivy educational consultants will be the mentors and instructors of the college application workshop at the Chulalongkorn University SAT Summer Camp 2014. They will work closely with you to guide you through the process of preparing for and applying to colleges and universities in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and/or Thailand.

They will work with you to identify the schools that will be the best fit for you both academically and socially, also inspiring you and guiding you through the general outlook of the college application process. They have worked with hundreds of students in the past and achieved an inspiring track list, helping students gain admissions to the top colleges and universities around the world. With their immense expertise and connections, you will be better prepared for the college application process.

You will have the opportunity to improve SAT test scores by taking 20 full SAT practice tests, enhance your vocabulary skills by memorizing more than 3,000 words, and learn test taking strategy skills. About College Application Workshop:

What you plan to do during the summer matters if you are applying to colleges this fall or even next fall. That’s the reason why you should consider studying for the SAT, being involved in volunteer work, extracurricular activities, job internships, and/or much more. However, the first priority on this list should be test preparation and college application strategy planning.

If you already have high scores on the SAT/ACT and/or TOEFL then you can sign-up for volunteer work, job internships or any other extracurricular activities that can help build your resume. If you already have all these steps completed and aside then you can probably do whatever you want during the summer. For those of you, who don’t have solid SAT scores then Chulalongkorn University SAT Camp 2014 will help improve your college odds; higher SAT scores mean that you will have a higher chance of admissions to the college or university you dream to attend.

During the four-week SAT Summer Camp program at Chulalongkorn University, you can experience a glimpse overview of the college application process. Learning Objectives

Chulalongkorn University SAT Summer Camp 2014 aims to:

• equip students with the skills necessary to take the SAT to the best of their abilities;
• develop students’ vocabulary skills through daily assignments;
• review all necessary SAT knowledge and test taking strategies on a regular basis;
• improve students’ confidence in their test-taking abilities using full SAT practice tests every day;
• give students access to conditions that are as realistic as possible.

At the end of the camp, each student will:

• be able to understand how exactly to interpret the questions asked in each section of the exam;
• have an extended vocabulary upon which they will be able to draw answers during the actual exam in both the writing and reading sections of the test;
• have a solid understanding of all of the math that will be required of them in the exam;
• be able to write a persuasive and competent essay in an efficient manner;
• understand the best techniques with which to answer the questions, including tactics for timing and answer choice selection, as well as relaxation exercises to ensure that they do their best on the day of the exam.
